Bathily is a long guard who probably shows his highest upside on the defensive end, but still shows some good potential offensively with a developing jumper and some ability to finish at the rim. His length and mobility stand out most as a backcourt player. He can swallow up players on the perimeter and also has the bounce and instincts inside to potentially block a lot of shots. He’s a versatile prospect with a lot more to tap into and is a high upside junior to watch.
Highlights
Green is a two-sport athlete and shows that athleticism with some of his finishes around the hoop. He’s playing a smaller role at Great Futures Prep than he did at Steilacoom but has the tools to be a reliable floor-spacer who can mix in some drives, and a kid who can add something defensively with his ability to shoot some passing lanes and use his athleticism to get out and run.
Peterson is a strong guard who plays really well out of the pick and roll. He’s pretty evenly skilled at facilitating and scoring in the two-man game and does a good job pushing the ball out in front when he shoots gaps to the hoop. He uses strength and body control to step through multiple defenders and shows some good touch at the rim as well as the ability to rain down some threes from behind the arc.
Highlights
The Ellensburg combo guard is capable of playing either spot and does a lot of ballhandling for the Bulldogs but looks more effective using the dribble to score. He can shoot from all over the floor and looks pretty natural scoring the ball, but what makes him a capable point guard is his ability to securely use either hand to attack and how he keeps his eyes up on drives. He also has the size to help out on the glass and is a big part of what Ellensburg brings to the floor.
Dhailwal is a wing with some good size who can shoot at a high clip and bring some effort to the boards. He’s pretty solid all-around with the ability to defend inside and out pretty well too and can hit those tough contested mid-range shots thanks to a high release and slight lean back on his jumper. He doesn’t seem to make a ton of mistakes and plays hard on both ends.
The junior from Sumner is a solid all-around wing who has good size and defensive versatility. He can matchup with multiple positions and skillsets, rebounds well on both ends, and has a pretty good spot up stroke from behind the arc. Hartley shows some strength and touch to finish inside and through bodies at the rim too.
Goldsmith is a strong wing/forward who does a good job finishing inside with either hand, and has a good enough handle to attack gaps from the perimeter either direction. He uses his body to hold off defenders, create shooting angles, and stays pretty balanced while getting downhill. He can also sprinkle in some threes and is a pretty consistent shooter at the foul line. The junior is second on the team with 14.1 points per game.
