Floyd has a solid, athletic build at 6’8 and uses his size well. He was a beast on the inside, working hard on the glass and dunking everything around the rim. In addition to his interior game, Floyd also showed the ability to step out and hit the 15-footer on multiple occasions. Floyd is definitely one to track in Georgia’s 2026 class.
Cam Dover Cam Dover 6’7″ | PF Maynard Jackson | 2025 State GA was the key for Maynard Jackson in a hard fought win over Douglass. Dover was extremely effective working out of the high post, scoring on a number of close ones and living at the free throw line in the 2nd half. He finished with a final stat line of 21 points to lead Maynard and grabbed 11 boards too. With Mekhi Turner Mekhi Turner 6’8″ | PF Maynard Jackson | 2024 State #271 Nation GA likely out for the year, Dover’s production will be needed for Maynard to win the region and go deep in the playoffs.
Ted Neal Ted Neal 6’6″ | SF Newton | 2025 State GA is off to a hot start this year and we saw more of the strong play from him on Saturday. Neal plays an undersized 5 for Newton but his freaky bounce and tenacity on the glass allow him to thrive in the role. He finished with 16 points against Riverwood including two big put-back dunks. Be on the lookout for Ted Neal Ted Neal 6’6″ | SF Newton | 2025 State GA this season as his stock is already rising.
It was an excellent showing from Woodward on Saturday night as they took down #8 Holy Innocents. They were able to limit Caleb Wilson Caleb Wilson 6’10” | PF Holy Innocents | 2025 State #3 Nation GA to just 13 points and Deke Cooper Deke Cooper 6’6″ | SF Woodward Academy | 2025 State GA was largely responsible. Offensively, Cooper shot the three-ball well. He connected on two of them early which in turn, opened up the floor for his playmaking guards. Deke Cooper Deke Cooper 6’6″ | SF Woodward Academy | 2025 State GA will be a huge piece for Woodward this year if they want to go deep in the playoffs.
