Jurrell Baldwin Jurrell Baldwin 6'6" | SF Hyde Park | 2024 State IL (Hyde Park)
Baldwin is currently a prospect not in the rankings as he moved back to the state from a brief stay at a prep. He will be the top uncommitted prospect on the board when this class is re-ranked in January. Big and physical 6’7″ small forward that can knock down shots and play with physicality.
Lee Marks Lee Marks 6'6" | SF Mt. Carmel | 2024 State IL (Mt. Carmel)
Marks headlines a deep wing class that has a lot of talent! The Caravan small forward is such a versatile player that can play both the three and four on both ends of the floor. He is what I would refer to as a super utility guy that can do a little bit of everything. The Swiss Army knife forward scores inside off athleticism, rebounds well, and can defend. Capable of hitting an open shot. Low-major schools should definitely take a look!
Connor May Connor May 6'5" | SF Palatine | 2024 State IL (Palatine)
Shooting is always at a premium and May brings that along with quality size at the small forward position. Good build and was an absolute star last December at the Jack Tosh Tournament where he lit up the nets over and over again not only with his shooting off the catch, but showing there is some versatility to his game. Low-majors in need of a high level shot maker this would be a nice find!
Braylon Roman Braylon Roman 6'3" | SG Normal Community | 2024 State IL (Normal Community)
Roman is primed to be one of the top players on one of the best teams from central Illinois. What you have to like is how crisp of a ball handler he is getting to his spots and elevating over opponents for feathery jumpers. Good soft touch finishing game around the hoop and has flashed as a passer being able to play some on the ball. Potential on the defensive end to check multiple positions.
Shaheed Solebo Shaheed Solebo 6'4" | SF Lane Tech | 2024 State IL (Lane Tech)
Solebo is a straight bucket getter. The lefty wing is an assassin with the rock in his hands wired to score from all over the floor. Burst with rock off the bounce and has range out to three especially being effective off the catch. Solid wing rebounder, but he is best at putting up points.
Tavariyaun Williams (De La Salle)
Williams is one of the more intriguing names on this list because he has all the physical and athletic tools to blow up this season for the Meteors. The big and athletic playmaking wing is an absolute force in transition with the way he explodes in the open floor. He turned up the intensity level during June making impactul plays on both ends consistently. If he can do that as a senior he will be earning a D1 offer.
Will Gonzalez Will Gonzalez 6'5" | SF Curie | 2024 State IL (Curie)
Long and rangy small forward that is a versatile piece. He is a very good multi positional defender with his go go gadget arms. Also like what he brings as a point-forward passing it and being a connector on the offensive end. Long strides with the rock in his hands and showed improvement as a shooter over the summer.
Niko Newsome Niko Newsome 6'6" | SG Normal Community | 2024 State IL (Normal Community)
Newsome is a skilled two guard that can flat out get things done. The transfer from Bloomington is a silky-smooth scorer that has legit three level bucket ability. It will be interesting to see how he fits into his new team with so many weapons to see if he can bring other impactful plays to the team outside of purely scoring.
Richard Lindsey Richard Lindsey 6'5" | SF De La Salle | 2024 State IL (De La Salle)
Lindsey is a big and bruising wing with plus athleticism. He is at his best when playing with strength downhill for finishes at the cup. Capable shot maker and should develop into a quality defender. Worth a look at the D2 level.
Camden Brown Camden Brown 6'5" | SF Quincy | 2024 State IL (Quincy)
Brown is a long and rangy shooting guard that has flown a bit under the radar throughout the process. Like what he brings as a three level scoring threat that should develop into a solid 3 and D wing at the next level. Will be the veteran on a stacked Quincy team that is eying a trip to Champaign in March.
