<p>The wide-open 8-Man and 6-Man style of football bears some similarities to basketball in that there is a ton of room for fast guys to operate and points are scored in bunches.</p>

<p>Here are some hoops stars who will compete for football titles in the 8-man and 6-man championships:</p>

<p>The 8-Man Div I championship features a DI football signee in <strong>Kaedin Massey</strong> who is as monsterous in the paint as he is on the line for Lyndon. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2387748' first='Jalen' last='Massey']</strong> and [player_tooltip player_id='1270271' first='Tanner' last='Heckel'] are playmakers in both sports. And for Wichita County, a basketball star to watch is receiver <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2387811' first='Colton' last='Harbin']</strong>.</p>

<p>Axtell and South Central, the combatants in the 8-Man Div II title game, were state basketball teams last year. Axtell is led by several basketball stars including [player_tooltip player_id='2169874' first='Brandon' last='Schmelzle'] and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2393807' first='Eli' last='Broxterman']</strong>. One hooper to watch for South Central will be <strong>Gavin Uhl</strong>.</p>

<p>The 6-Man finale will feature a trio of basketball stars from Cheylin in <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2314831' first='Pablo' last='Bermudez']</strong>, <strong>Logan McCarty</strong> and <strong>Brady Ketzner</strong>. Those three have done a lot of winning over the years. A rising small-school star for Cunningham is <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1962894' first='Luke' last='Albers']</strong>.</p>
