These can be players that have risen in either the number next to their name or the general perception of their game. Let’s look at a few of the stock-risers in this update of the class of 2025 prospect rankings.
Karel is the definition of a stock-riser. He’s become a highly regarded national prospect, and for good reason. Karel has expertly developed an expanded his game. He’s not just a talented post player. He’s now a versatile forward with a dominant post game and a perimeter game to go with it. Karel can attack the defense from all over the floor and college coaches have wide eyes watching him play.

Kampen has always been a very talented basketball player with an impressive upside. A button clicked this grassroots season and he took his game a brand new level. Kampen utilized his silky smooth athleticism and lights out jumper while seeing his stock rise rapidly this summer. His improved body control and basketball IQ has led to some looks from high level programs. I wouldn’t cap this young man’s game at any level.

Westerdale is a prime example of a player that should be getting more publicity for his game. He’s an elite guard that can compete on the highest of levels. If a college coach wants a lead guard with versatility that can fill it up from beyond the arc, Westerdale is a perfect prospect to look at. He’s an elite shooting and scoring lead guard that can play the game at a fast pace. Don’t be too distracted by his shooting, because he can distribute the ball as well and will find the hot hand.

Henderson was one of the biggest risers in this update, moving up about a hundred spots. Guess what? He’s got a valid argument for the rise to have been even higher. Henderson has quickly become one of the most talented post players in the state, with an extremely high upside to go with it. The athletic big utilizes his wingspan to be an elite post defender.

I was lucky enough to see Downs play a few times this past grassroots season and it was obvious that his name needed to go up the list. He’s always been a terrific energy player and a huge asset as a perimeter defender. But the growth in his offensive game over the last 8 months or so has been incredible. Downs is physically stronger and so much more aggressive with the ball. A college coach could get a steal adding Downs to their program.
