This can be shown either by the number next to their name or just by the perception of their game. Let’s take a look at some of the stock risers in this update for the 2024 class.
We all knew that Johnson was a supremely talented prospect and he would have rose up the rankings. But after his performance at the Prep Hoops Michigan Top 250, he rise up the list grew more dramatically. Johnson is nothing short of an elite open floor playmaker and electric above the rim finisher.
Let’s not forget that a couple years ago, Brooks was an easy D1 target. The injury bug hit, but he’s battled back and looks the part of a D1 talent once again. He’s been better than outstanding at both the PH Michigan Top 250 and the City Slam Championships. Brooks has been a top notch playmaker with the ball and a true 3 level scorer.

Any top 40 player that thinks that they don’t need or want the Top 250, see this article and the stock-risers in it. Brock sent a message loud and clear at this years Top 250. Quite simply, he’s a D1 type of all around athlete. Brock can jump through the gym and can do things physically that just can’t be taught. It’s not surprising that he’s being recruited in multiple sports.

And the trend continues. Hureskin is another player that made terrific use of the Top 250. The young man showed that he’s an electric guard that can flat out go get buckets. He has terrific handles and can break down a defender at any moment. Hureskin has an outstanding jumper that he can hit on the move and off the catch.
Dillard had a terrific summer where he answered the question “Can he score against high level competition?” loud and clear. Not only can he, he can do it in explosive fashion. When Dillard heats up, his jumper is simply game changing. At the City Slam last weekend, he reminded us all that he can score at the rim by attacking off the bounce as well.

Beachnau offers too much as a player and prospect to not move up the rankings significantly. He’s a versatile forward that can attack inside-out as well as outside-in. Yet another young man that thoroughly impressed at the Top 250 and is reaping the benefits of it. He’s getting next level looks that he deserves and received an offer from Kalamazoo College less than a month ago.
