November Update: 2025 New Additions

In this article, we are going to highlight some new additions to the Prep Hoops Arkansas Rankings to watch out for over the next couple of seasons.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2027564' first='Cade' last='Smith']-Combo Guard-Russellville-5'11”</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2027564' first='Cade' last='Smith'] is a guard that can run the point and shoot the ball with impressive consistency. Smith is a good ball handler and has a good awareness of where his teammates are on the court. Meanwhile, he can hit with consistency from all areas of the court. Smith stays active on both ends of the court and is a player to watch out for throughout the rest of the season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2266284' first='Malik' last='McGuire']-Small Forward-Maumelle-6'7”</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Maumelle forward is off to a strong to the 2023 basketball season. McGuire gets in the paint, and he battles well for rebounds on both sides of the court. He has a smooth jumper and can step outside the three-point arc and hit the three with some consistency. McGuire stays active on both ends of the basketball court. The Maumelle forward is a prospect to watch out for this season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2264594' first='Jarvis' last='Palmer Jr'].-Combo Guard-Springdale-6'2”</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2264594' first='Jarvis' last='Palmer Jr']. handles the ball well and shoots the ball in impressive fashion for the Bulldogs. He does a great job of passing the ball. Palmer Jr. seems to always know where his teammates are on the court. He stays active on both ends of the court and he can harass opposing players into turning the ball over. Over the next couple of seasons, Springdale and Palmer Jr. should be watched closely. I expect a big season from both.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2281881' first='Ryder' last='McClain']-Point Guard-Mountain Home-6'2”</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2281881' first='Ryder' last='McClain'] does a great job of running the point for the Bombers. He has strong court awareness and does an excellent job of finding the open shooter. From a shooting perspective, he has a smooth jump shot and can heat up quickly from long range. McClain does an impressive job on the defensive end of the court. He can pressure opposing players into making a mistake with the basketball. McClain is a prospect to watch out for this season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2258010' first='Jayce' last='Tillman']-Combo Guard-Jacksonville-6'5”</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Jacksonville guard is another player that can shoot the ball with accuracy. However, he has the ball handling ability to take opposing defenders off of the dribble. Tillman has the ability to drain the three-point shot with impressive consistency. Tillman stays active on both ends of the court and is an active defender. The Jacksonville guard is a player to watch out for as the season progresses.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
