Lee Williams Lee Williams 6'5" | SF University City | 2024 State MO (University City)
Williams was a force for U-City in the 3:45pm slot. The 6’6 senior was very good around the rim making tough shots through contact. He started the game on the interior and worked his way out to the perimeter. He made 2 threes in the contest and had a nice transition dunk which really broke the game open. All in all he exploded for 30 points in total. Williams is a college ready player with a nice frame.
Holden Souter Holden Souter 6'6" | PF Whitfield | 2024 State MO (Whitfield)
Souter got Whitfield started and helped them get out to an 8-0 lead. The senior committed to Northwood out of Michigan following the game. What are they getting? A versatile 6’7 forward who can make the three and score as a face-up man. Souter really had it going in this contest. He’s a player they look for to initiate offense, rebound & run, and make shots at the end of the quarter. A great start to his senior season.
Cameron Ivey (Confluence)
Ivey was a pest as an on-ball defender and made a ton of plays in transition. His speed changed the game for Confluence and he’s a leader with the ball. A tremendous slasher and someone with slick handles. His rotations and quick hands forced a lot of turnovers. Not only was he getting steals, but he was scoring off these opportunities. If this game was any indication, Ivey might be the leader on this roster.
Colby Alpert (Westminster)
Alpert connected on a lot of big shots as Westminster worked to make up an early 14 point deficit. The senior wing had multiple threes, worked hard on the offensive glass, and ran the floor showing good hands in the process. He was prepared to score at the basket as his guards found him on attacks to the rim. Westminster plays a positionless style and Alpert is one of their strongest players. He defends the post and takes charges.
Antoine Franklin (Miller Career)
Franklin got better and better as the game went on. He had a monster performance late into the night here at MICDS. The 6’4 senior has a lot of explosion in his game and makes difficult plays at the rim look easy. An effortless slasher. He plays above the rim and blows up shots on the other end. His motor runs high and he plays even bigger than his height may suggest. A hidden gem out of Miller Career.
