Sean O’Leary Sean O’Leary 6'4" | SG Franklin | 2024 State New E , Franklin, Class Senior, HT 6’4, Position SF
Sean is the reigning League MVP. What Separate’s sean’s game apart, is his versatility. He can play inside and out, and also defend inside and out. Last season he averaged just over 20 points per game, 8 rebounds, and 3 assists. His abilities to score in a variety of ways will be on full display this season. He can score off the dribble, shoot the three, and he has a very good post game. He did all this last year, being very efficient from the field. He shot over 50 percent. Sean is not a selfish player, and he did a good job last season finding the open teammates when he saw high defensive pressure. Sean’s impact will be felt on both sides of the floor. Franklin is the defending Kelly Rex league champions, and they will look to repeat that this season.
Troy Santos Troy Santos 5'11" | CG Taunton | 2024 State New E , Taunton, HT 5’11, Class Senior, Position Guard
Santos is one of the top scorers in the league, and he had has some big games last year, including one with 44 points. Santos has a high motor, and he is a high percentage three point shooter. He can also attack down hill and get to the rim. He moves well with out the ball, and he has a quick shot release. Although he can score in bunches, he also impacts the game in other way’s. He rebounds the ball well for a guard, is a good passer, and is a good on ball defender.
Trevor Foley, Mansfield, Class Senior, HT 6’4, Position SF,
Trevor will be one of the best defenders in the Hockomock league this season. Last season he was named defensive player of the year for the league. He can really match up with position’s 1-5 on defense without having a problem. Mansfield always takes pride on the defensive side of the ball, and they held teams to under 50 points in many games last year. Trevor last season averaged 1.3 blocks per game, to go along with 7 rebounds, and over 50 steals in the season. Trevor is very effective defending on ball or off the ball. When he does not block a shot, he is always altering shots and making it difficult for the offense. He can cover a lot of ground on defense with his length and athleticism, and he also communicates well. What coach does not want a defensive specialist.
Jacob McLoughlin, Sharon, Class Senior, HT 6’1, Position PG
Sharon had a deep tournament run last year, and if they have another big run, Jacob will be a big part of it. Jacob is the floor general for Sharon, and will run the offense. He is an unselfish Point guard, who is a very good passer, with good court vision. Last season he had a strong assist to turnover ratio. He also has a quick first step, and finishes well at the rim. His impact is also felt on the defensive side of the floor. He is a strong on ball defender, and he gets’ a ton of deflections. Last season Jacob might have been one of the most improved players in the league. Jacob is a high energy player, that makes players around him better.
Andrew Rivera, Milford, HT 6’3, Class Junior, Position G
Last season Andrew took a big jump, on a very young Milford team. He averaged 16 points, 3 assist, and 6 rebounds. Andrew proved last season he is one of the better scorers in the Hock. He is efficient from the field, and he can finish at the rim in multiple ways, and with both hands. He has good length for the guard position, and he moves well. He can shoot the three, or pull up from mid range. He is also efficient when making his move, and does a good job dribbling with a purpose. I think Andrew will take an even bigger jump in his junior season.
