A total of 32 schools will be in Class A this winter and in this series, we will be reviewing 4 prospects per article from the highest student enrollment schools to the lowest.

https://twitter.com/MarriusCanturnA load down low, Cantu has offensive lineman size with above average footwork that allows him to move fluidly in the painted area. Cantu knows how to use his size to create space with post moves and a soft touch to finish. His strength on the boards will serve the Packers well, by limiting extra opponent possessions while creating extra for his own team. Only a junior, Cantu has a chance to become a big man commodity around the metro.

Averaging almost 8 points and 3.5 rebounds per game with limited minutes last year, his ability to score from inside will make him a primary ball handler for Millard West. Gassen brings a toughness to the lineup as a strong on ball defender that can finish through contact on the offensive side of the ball. Gassen will quickly become a player that opponents will need to gameplan for and colleges will start to take notice.
One of the top athletes in state, Mick did it all for Lincoln East last year. He was the top scorer while finishing in the top 4 in rebounds, assists and steals on the team. Mick is a gritty player who can get into the painted area and finish or shoot with consistency from distance. He can rebound well for a guard and bring the ball up the floor to run the offense. His intelligence is an asset, making him a leader on the court. Mick will generate a buzz his senior year after a great fantastic year on the court and the diamond his junior season, that led to his Husker commitment.
Around the state there is no secret who Braden Frager Braden Frager 6’6″ | SF Lincoln Southwest | 2025 State #211 Nation NE is. The recent Husker commit burst onto the scene his freshman year with his athleticism and talent ceiling being evident. Since then, he has shown his development from being a knock down shooter to a head tapping rim attacker that strikes fear into opponents when he is coming down the lane. With the absence of Chuck Love Chuck Love 6’6″ | SG Lincoln Southwest | 2025 NE , Frager will be the focal point for the Skyhawks this year and a front runner for Gatorade Player of the Year in Nebraska. It won’t be long before the nation has eyes on Frager.
