Continue ReadingOn Monday afternoon we released our updated Prep Hoops Indiana Class of 2024 Prospect Rankings. With nearly 400 prospects in our database we ranked the Top 150 and grew our Watch List to over 200 names. Something we do alongside every rankings update is highlight some of the biggest stock-risers in the class. These are the prospects who shot up the rankings the most over the last few months in between updates. Let’s dive on in and take a look at six prospects from across the state that improved their ranking the most.
Center Grove has a lot of veteran talent in the backcourt and Bundy is certainly one that deserves more recognition. He was excellent in the Trojans win over Franklin Central last weekend and has been a consistent contributor in Center Grove’s backcourt for years now. Bundy is a talented playmaker, can score it at the rim and in the mid-range, and has proven himself as a willing defender. In this update he broke into the Top 100 and #96 overall in the Class of 2024.
Garner just keeps improving and therefore working his way up the Prep Hoops Indiana Class of 2024 Prospect Rankings. The 6’6″ senior forward is now the go-to guy for the Fishers Tigers who are off to a strong start to their season. He is extremely versatile offensively with the ability to handle the ball and pass it like guard while possessing the size and strength to finish inside consistently. Garner is now ranked as the #12 prospect in the class while holding a handful of Division I, Division II, and high-level NAIA offers.
Arguably the best under-the-radar big man in Indiana’s Class of 2024, McNair is a double-double machine for Evansville Harrison. The 6’6″ post presence has good footwork and a soft touch offensively while possessing the strength and tenacity to dominate the glass at both ends of the floor. Any small college program in the surrounding area that is looking for a plug-and-play front court guy, look no further than McNair. He is now ranked #62 overall in the Prep Hoops Indiana Class of 2024 Prospect Rankings.

You can’t deny production and that is what this guard from Brownsburg High School brings to the table. He was a double-digit scorer last season as a junior and then came right out of the gate this season scoring 22 points in a season-opening win over North Central. Porath is excellent off of the dribble, can shoot it from beyond the arc, and has the athleticism to finish against size at the end of his drives. He has vaulted put our Prep Hoops Indiana Prospect Rankings to #76 overall in the Class of 2024.
There are not a whole lot of shooters around the state of Indiana that have the proven track record of production that this Blackhawk Christian prospect has to his name. As a junior, the 6’5″ guard averaged 9.1 points per game while making 79 three-pointers at a 40% clip. He will take on a larger scoring role for the Braves this season which should allow for him to become more of a household name around the state. Look for the offers to continue to roll in for Smith as he has now broken into the Prep Hoops Indiana Top 50.

Zepp’s combination of size and skill make him a really intriguing long-term prospect. The 6’7″ Westview High School product came over prior to his senior season from Northridge and is making an instant impact at his new home. He has the unique ability to use his size to score inside while also possessing the skill level to stretch the floor out beyond three-point range. A handful of small college programs have been taking notice and there should be more to come this winter.
