At the City Slam, I saw a lot of high quality players that had undergone big changes in their frame and their game. Let’s look at some of those athletes.
Wolak showed his continued growth in his game at the City Slam Championships. He’s always been an excellent floor general and very efficient passer. That being said, he looked way more athletic and dynamic on Saturday. He was passing on the move and playing with pace at the event.
Zeller is a super talented underclassmen that will be a player to keep an eye on. Last I saw him, he was a pretty long forward with a lot of energy. He’s now a tall guard with an array of perimeter skills and the ability to attack offensively in a variety of ways. Zeller’s game and frame have a next level potential type of look.

Pruitt continues to improve and he showed that at the City Slam. I really liked what he brought to the table as an athletic wing. He showed the ability to make plays in transition, spreading the floor while filling the wing and making plays around the bucket.
Bailey has always been a matchup nightmare with his strength and ball skills combination. He showed that he’s taken it to a whole new level this year at City Slam. Bailey was even bigger and even stronger, while still maintaining his athleticism and ease of movement. It actually looked like he even improved his touch around the rim.

They’ve got something going in St. Clair these days. I saw Trudeau briefly this summer, and his game has definitely evolved. He’s an athletic guard that can create off the bounce and finish on both sides of the rim. Trudeau can finish in traffic, using tremendous body control and creativity.
Norman just keeps working and keeps improving his game. He’s really started to turn some heads this fall and deservedly so. Norman is a gritty wing that’s willing to do the little things and play whatever role is needed. He did a lot of everything well on Saturday, from grabbing rebounds to getting defensive stops. He’s probably played himself into a ranking this time around.
