Mireles will provide immense value through his floor spacing, possessing a height advantage and high release point on the shot. Most active on spot-up attempts, the wing was a consistent floor spacer last season, contributing 36% of his three point attempts. Mireles even showed flashes of shotmaking off the dribble, stepping into shot attempts deep or at the line, if provided room. When in transition, the wing is a willing passer, even showing flash on passes in advantage situations. His continued growth as a ball handler will be intriguing, possibly finding ways to score with greater efficiency inside the arc. Mireles follows very encouraging averages of 10 points and 2.5 rebounds per game.

McKinley brings a high IQ, aware of plays right before they happen, taking advantage of weaknesses. The guard’s help defense is especially impactful, getting into position early while getting a hand into the opponent’s space to nab a steal. On offense, the guard has quick processing speeds, doing an excellent job as a connective passer. Through his previous season with Mayfield, McKinley put up 4 points and 2.9 assists per game. Their per game assists number sets them second among all 2025s within the 5A class and seventh among all 2025s in the state.

Turrubiates showed intrigue early on in the summer with New Mexico D1 , certainly an active forward on the glass. Possessing great strength and consistent motor, the forward is always on the prowl for second chance opportunities in the paint. If necessary, the forward can get up three or four times straight, vying for possession on the glass. His continued growth as a shotmaker has been encouraging, showing signs of stepping into mid-range attempts off the bounce. Another area of value has been his growth handling the rock, capable taking bumps while leveraging his strength in the post, for pivots or turnaround finishes.

Hodge showed intrigue as a complementary shotmaker, staying ready on three point attempts and downhill scoring attempts. Putting up 4.6 points and 2.6 rebounds this past season, the guard is primed for a much larger opportunity following the departure of leading scorer Michael Mackey, who is currently attending New Mexico JC. Hodge shows promise defending the best opponents for this group, boasting notable strength and a low center of gravity. His impact as a downhill scorer will be intriguing, certainly capable of staying strong versus incoming contests. Hobbs will be a very interesting program, featuring a talented blend of shotmakers and perimeter playmakers.
Gonzales will be an intriguing name with Organ Mountain, which was one of the premier programs in 5A last season. Following the departure of multiple key seniors, the guard will likely be asked to take on a larger role this coming season. Following averages of 3.4 points and 2 rebounds per game.
