Koubek’s evolution as a playmaker gives The Villages another steady ball handler. His ball handling and passing have improved since the summer. It’s made him a better shooter off the dribble. More promising is his vision all over the court. He has the IQ to make the right pass. The 6’3 senior is rounding out his game as a combo guard.
Syrus Pentecost | Bradenton Christian
Pentecost brings athleticism and toughness to his teams. The 6’2 senior rebounds well for the position and finishes through contact. He’s more of a dirty work player with his high school team, and his frame and playstyle make him a perfect fit.
Highlights
Xiang’s offensive skillset caught my eye this summer, but he’s become more assertive. He’s a good shooter from distance who has range beyond the college three point line. The 2025 prospect uses his crafty handle and quick first step to get to the rim. His size, scoring, and playmaking make him a player who can affect the game in several ways. He’s a good finisher at the rim who can make layups at difficult angles.
Moses Allen Moses Allen 6'5" | CG Carrollwood Day | 2026 State FL | Carrollwood Day School
Allen is a long 6’4 lead guard with long arms. He’s added weight to his frame, and its added confidence to his game. He was more aggressive during the season’s first games against stiff competition. He scores in transition, runs the offense, and has a size advantage over most guards. Allen is a long-term prospect that will only get better with experience.
Cordarius White | Gainesville
White is sweet, shooting 6’3 sophomore. Armed with long arms and a scorer’s mindset, White is producing early. He’s a consistent three point shooter on a high volume of deep shots. He reads the floor well as a cutter, and his finishing helps it pay off. He can create his shot in isolation and hit shots off the dribble.
