Jordan Brown
Jordan Brown
A capable floor spacer, Brown knocked down nearly 40% of three point attempts this past season, no easy mark. There are two areas of notable intrigue for the guard, one has been his perimeter shotmaking, first in attempts beyond the arc with Moriarty. The second area to track will be his usage this season, given the departure of three of their four leading scorers. Brown has shown a willingness to attack downhill when presented a lane or a poor closeout, certainly picking his spots around the halfcourt carefully. Another fun fact was Brown’s total made threes ranked him fourth among all sophomore guards in the state.
John Horacek
John Horacek
Another knockdown shooter from beyond the arc, Horacek is coming off a highly productive season, notching the 11th spot among all 2025s in the state for total made threes. Although a productive shotmaker beyond the arc, Horacek works off-ball, finding lanes through backdoor cutters once the opponents ball watch. The guard follows averages of 7.8 points and 4.4 rebounds per game while contributing 41% of three point attempts.
Xavier Abernathy
Xavier Abernathy
Abernathy is a steady complementary guard, carefully surveying the floor for an opening for a teammate. They are consistent picking their spots, picking openings in the defense for driving lanes, to hit shooters with kick outs or skip passes across the halfcourt. Abernathy returns to Bloomfield as the leader in rebounds, following averages of 4.7 points, 4.3 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game. Their continued growth as a diverse shotmaker will be intriguing, likely taking on a larger offensive role this coming season.
Mauro showed potential rebounding the ball and attacking the lane, certainly growing as a complementary playmaker with Los Alamos. Showing a willingness to attack downhill primarily with the right hand, the guard enjoys utilizing hesitations to freeze his opponent to get downhill. If the defense has yet to arrive, Mauro has shown upside stepping into the pull-up jumper within the mid-range. Mauro follows averages of 4.6 points and 2.3 rebounds per game with Los Alamos.
Kyle Evenhus
Kyle Evenhus
Evenhus showed signs as a valuable defender, particularly thanks to his defensive awareness while away from the ball. He was instrumental in clogging the lane for drivers, keeping his hands active to instigate opponents. Evenhus was consistent ripping the ball away on drives or getting close with both hands up to contest the shot attempt. Los Alamos boasts a very young roster, continuing to grow and build chemistry with their quickly progressing playmakers. Evenhus follows averages of 3.5 points and 2.8 rebounds per game.
Taking a huge role for this Los Alamos group, Fresquez is among the most productive playmakers in this 2025 class. His efficiency on high volume both beyond and inside the arc cannot be overlooked. Alongside his shotmaking, the guard has shown promise facilitating the ball for teammates, actively making the extra pass once help approaches.
