Wheaton St. Francis Stars Shine in Win

This game was a rout from the very beginning with Wheaton St. Francis starting 18-0 to begin the game. A big reason for that was the play of 6'6” power forward [player_tooltip player_id='2323271' first='Gavin' last='Mueller']. The physically developed four man plays with a lot of energy and intensity on the interior. Gets on the glass for put backs, hook shot, can put it on the deck a couple dribbles, and threw down a nasty dunk. Brings his physicality on the boards snatching them in traffic. He had 10 points. [player_tooltip player_id='1285489' first='Kelton' last='McEwen'] is a transfer from Bartlett that is one of the better unsigned lead guards in the state. He is a big time shooter from the perimeter that is effective both on and off the ball. His shot making is his biggest strength. Hit three of them on his way to 12 points. Worth a serious look by D2 programs.

Glue Guys Give St. Francis Nice Depth Playing Roles

Liked the glue guys for this St. Francis squad. [player_tooltip player_id='1436612' first='Aaron' last='Cook'] brings some pop at 6'6” with good athleticism on the wing. He had a big dunk and hit a pair of triples going for 10 points. Mark Balaskovits is a hard nosed 5'11” guard that was a jack of all trades for his squad. The lefty guard was all over the place for put backs, slashes, steals, and hit from deep for 11 points. Patrick Spahn impacted the game without scoring. Was a very good rangy wing defender that blocked several shots and rebounded well.

2025 Guard to Track on Providence St. Mel

Despite the loss there was one bright spot for Providence St. Mel in the form of their junior point guard Kenneth Miller. Smaller guard but has a lanky frame. The 2025 had a great runner game, hit two threes, and lived at the foul line. He was aggressive with the ball in his hands making plays no matter the score. Led the game in scoring with 14 points.
