We dive into the positional rankings. We move over to the power forwards/centers for the sophomore class.
Here are the top-8 PF/C’s in the 2026 class:
Cameron Williams St. Mary’s
One of the longest, tallest and most fluid players in the state from the AIA. He moves gracefully from end to end and takes long strides. He dunks the ball effortlessly using his length and quick bounce. He is becoming a top shot blocker with either hand and loves the mid range J.
Lukas Toukam Bella Vista Prep (Pictured)
A power forward with an insane seven-foot-three wingspan. He is a fluid mover and covers a lot of ground on the perimeter and is strong to defend in the paint. He can shoot it from mid to three. A Cameroon native.
Elijah Summers-Livingston Basha
A long live bodied pogo stick. The power forward flies on the break and spurts up instantly to dunk the ball, rebound and blocks shots at a high rate. He has the ability to defend a guard and then move down to man up in the post.
Cristian Simmons Sunnyslope
A face-up four-man who pushed out to six-foot-eight. He has a pretty touch to the three point line and loves the short corners. He can score with his back to the basket, flush it down plus block shots.
Nico Wright Ben Franklin
A long, somewhat lean and tall power forward. He is a very quick leaper and fluid mover. He is one of the better natural shot blockers with his timing, go-go gadget arms and explosive leaping ability. He can face-up, dunk it and score on put backs.
Makenzie Lazor Casteel
A face-up power forward seems to keep growing. He has a pretty touch out to the three point line and is also a very good rebounder and shot blocker. He is a quick vertical leaper to challenge his opponents and brings much needed energy.
Nnamdi Ogali Canyon International Academy
A big strong post player has a good base with length and toughness. He holds his ground and will wall up to defend the opposing bigs. He can score in the paint with tip ins, hook shots, dunks and put backs.
Tarrell Green Jr Highland Prep
A hyper athletic power forward is a little undersized but he leaps up like he has springs on. He rebounds at a high clip and sends balls away in and out of his area. He is a good runner and a top end athlete in 2A.
