Myon Kirlew Myon Kirlew 6'0" | CG Norristown | 2024 State PA – 6’0” / 2024 / Norristown / 610 City / Combo Guard: In 2022-23 Kirlew posted 11.7 points per game and drained 34 triples. He poured in 27 points against Conestoga and 25 points vs. JP McClaskey. In short, Kirlew can fill it up. Over the last four months, Kirlew has proven that he can also run as a primary ball handler. Recently Kirlew has played with extreme poise as he directed half-court sets and distributed to teammates. His ability to attack opposing defenses going left or right is impressive. College coaches will love Kirlew’s versatility.
Jacob Nguyen Jacob Nguyen 6'3" | SG Spring Ford | 2025 State PA – 6’3” / 2025 / Spring Ford / Philly Pride National / Shooting Guard: Nguyen is one of the betting favorites to take home PAC POY honors. Last season Nguyen was good for 16 ppg. (76 made threes) as he guided Spring Ford to 28 wins, the PAC title, the District 1-6A ‘chip game and the 6A state semis. Nguyen’s efforts were rewarded with 1st Team All-Pac, 1st Team All-Area and 2nd Team 6A All-State selections. When this sniper is not draining threes from all over the court, he scores off the bounce. Nguyen possess a high basketball IQ, so he rarely hoists an ill-advised shot and is a willing passer too.
Gabe Rinda – 6’1″ / 2024 / Pottsgrove / Eastern PA Elite / Shooting Guard: When he is done quarterbacking the Pottsgrove football team, Rinda takes to the hardwood as an instinctive, two-way guard. During his junior campaign, Rinda averaged 13.5 points per game last season and was an Honorable Mention All-Area selection. Rinda can stroke threes (47 3PM last season) and attack the paint off the dribble to score or distribute. His mid-range game is underrated. On defense, he is a plus player with a firm understanding of team defensive concepts.
Julian Sadler Julian Sadler 6'1" | CG Perkiomen Valley | 2024 State PA – 6’2″ / 2024 / Perkiomen Valley / Prim3 Tim3 / Combo Guard: In 2022-23 Sadler led the PAC in scoring at 20 points per night (66 3PM). He poured in a season high 30 points against Exeter and registered multiple 25+ point games. Obviously, Sadler can score at all three levels, but he can facilitate for teammates too. His change of direction / pace abilities are elite. His ability to use his body to ward of defenders is also impressive. Last year, Sadler was a 1st team All-PAC as well as 1st Team All-Area selection. Thus, it should not be a shock that in 2023-24 he is one of the front runners for PAC POY honors.
Kyle Shawaluk Kyle Shawaluk 6'4" | SG Perkiomen Valley | 2024 State PA – 6’5″ / 2024 / Perkiomen Valley / PSB Philly / Wing: You can forget about the 9 points per game Shawaluk averaged last season. His outstanding play from June through September made him one of the biggest 2024 stock risers in our latest rankings update. We predict Shawaluk is headed for a monster season and that is why he is our dark horse POY candidate. Shawaluk can score in bunches by draining threes, navigating past defenders off the dribble for lay-ins, and getting out in the open court. Shawaluk is an intense, high IQ prospect with a non-sop motor. Plus he possesses all the other intangibles college coaches drool over.
