I saw a little of Chavez this summer and he impressed me with his toughness and pace. He’s a smaller guard but he shoots the three well, is fast down the court and can stop on a dime. Even at his size, he shows no hesitation taking it at bigger players at the hoop. He’s aggressive but has the patience to pull the ball back out if nothings there and brings energy throughout the game.
Highlights
This guy shows really nice touch from the mid-range, especially working off the dribble. With long strides he glides up the court but still has some shiftiness to get around defenders. He can hit tough shots and shows potential to be a real shot-maker as he gets older.
Highlights
A guard on the rise, Schneider is a solid all-around player who exhibits a natural feel for the game. He can shoot pretty well, has good movement off the ball with fills and cuts, and is strong to the hoop finishing through defenders. He brings it on defense too, with active hands and good feet. He should play a pivotal role for Redmond this season at the head of their offense.
Brown is a hustler who makes plays all over the court, chasing down loose balls, fighting for boards inside, and can make those strong takes to the rim. He’s a hard worker with a big motor who can be a key contributor for Seattle Academy.
Highlights
Goins has good length and can really be a disrupter defensively, guarding the perimeter and playing tough inside. He’s active, works the glass hard, and has strong takes inside. Look for him to be a physical player for Foss this season.
Highlights
This guy was stroking from 3-point when I got to see him play. He’s a smaller guard with some handles, can push the pace and shows some nice touch passing the ball around. He’s got some electricity to his game with his ability to get hot from deep.
Adeeb is a solid player with good feet and a tight handle. He’s able to break his man down, get to the hoop and finish through contact. With poise and toughness, he shows some plus finishing ability
