Lincoln Way East 6’3 2025
One of the better scoring performances I witness at our 250 camp came from this LWE wing. Taylor is gifted as he uses his long arms to make plays when attacking the basket. Brent is smooth around the rim when attacking off the bounce. Several times we witnessed Taylor getting in the lane or turning the corner on defenders only to score through contact to complete plays. When sizing players up on the perimeter Brent hit several threes with a hand in his face. Look for a jump in his rankings in the next 2025 update.

5’10 (Lake View) 2025
Loza a quick guard who has very good basketball IQ. Made his second trip to the 250 camp and finished where he left off. Daniel was exceptional on fast break opportunities serving up dimes and knockdown shots from three. He is a very underrated ball handler that can get in the lane when given ahead of steam. Loza can also play well off the ball and become a catch and shoot target. He made several shots from three on Saturday. Daniel is an underrated player that you should see moving up in the next rankings.
Maddox Shepherd 6’0 (Montini Catholic) 2024
The first thing this comes to mind when I write about Shepherd is his ability to get steals. Maddox was all over the court collecting steals like it was Halloween candy. He has great reflexes and quick twitched instincts to make plays on the ball. Most of his steals were converted into points as he is an unselfish guard who has a nice build on him. On offense he shot the ball pretty well when given space. Small school colleges who value defense would love this prospect.

6’3 (Macon Meridian) 2024
Hill was an unknown to me coming into this 250 camp. He left a lasting impression as a knock down shooter. Sebastian connected on 8 three pointers in his first game of the day. He shot the ball so well that most times the ball never touched the rim. Hill was able to get his shot off by defenders sitting in the lane trying to protect the rim. He often dribbled right into open shots. Sebastian is volume shooter that D2 schools should be tracking.
Phoenix Childs

2025 (Phillips) 6’3
Phoenix is a stocky guard who gets downhill at will. He uses his upper body strength to finish through contact around the rim. He is a naturally aggressive guard that didn’t back down from the competition. Childs didn’t just rely on bully ball as he showed he’s able to hit shots from mid-range and from three. He is a player that can become a double digit scoring threat this season. Phoenix gives Phillips depth in the guard rotation.
