The Prep Hoops Texas Top 250 Expo was loaded with talent from sophomores to seniors. Prospects were given the opportunity to showcase their ability to shoot the three-ball, facilitate, defend, handle the rock, dunk, and hit the boards, and many of them were very impressive in doing so. While those things were great to witness, I looked beyond them to see if I could find some prospects that influenced and changed the game through their play in some of those areas as well as others. Here are a few of the 2026 prospects that emerged as some of the Expo’s top GameChangers…
Gilbert Aluga Gilbert Aluga 6’6″ | PF Liberty Frisco | 2026 TX is a highly promising prospect with a bright future in the game. His progression and skill development have been impressive, evident from his early years. When he’s on the court, it’s clear that the game has slowed down for him, allowing him to maintain composure and play with a sense of control. Aluga’s ability to remain composed and never in a rush contributes to his effectiveness on the court.
