Top 24’s – Hoop Mountain Fall Showcase

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Hoop Mountain Fall Showcase took place at the Mass Premier Courts a few weeks ago and, from a college prospect standpoint, certainly didn't disappoint. He's got a strong frame that allows him to absorb contact and finish at the rim and an array of finishing moves that allow him to finish over taller defenders. His strength should allow him to guard up at the college level. Hall didn't pop, but he also didn't make mistakes or force the issue. He's got a great build for a college wing and enough athleticism to hold his own guarding up or down a position. Maybe the most college ready big at the event, he guards well in space and runs the floor well for a prospect of his size. Kelley can score inside or out and shows solid passing instincts. He stood out on this night with his defensive intensity, speed in transition, and ability to make open shots from the perimeter. Reyes plays incredibly hard, which set him apart from others on this stage. He's an off-guard at this point in time, scoring mostly off slashes to the rim and catch and shoot 3's. Rosario popped early on the defensive end; he showed an ability to keep ball handlers in front of him in space and was effective off the ball getting steals and deflections. He can make 3's right now, but really excels getting into the paint and in transition. Vasilakeris was impressive attacking the rim, even rising up for a dunk in transition, but also showed good passing instincts and moved well without the ball. Zancan displayed an offensive arsenal that should blend in seamlessly with any college system. He has a skill set that is tailor made for the modern game as he's a complete wing that can score at all three levels, handles the ball well, and is a good decision maker.
