Hosted at the state-of-the-art PHHacility, this event offers young athletes a platform to showcase their skills and passion for the game. With a reputation for its competitive spirit and sportsmanship, the Southwest Slam brings together talented youth teams from across the Southwest. At this age, it’s all development so we keep an eye on every talented player. Here’s a look at some Sleepers from the event.

Aidan Amini
Aidan Amini
Amini was one of the first players I saw at the event. He’ll also be a guy that I’ll keep an eye on. The class of 2032 guard plays hard, winning 50/50 balls and manufacturing points by sticking back offensive rebounds.

Brexton Quinet
Brexton Quinet
Quinet is a standout player that could be posied to make a name for himself. The lefty is a big time scorer, that plays the game with a ton of moxie. His ability to create for himself and shoot it make him a sleeper to watch.

Ladner Nevaeh
Ladner Nevaeh
Nevaeh is a human press breaker with sick handles. She easily navigated full court pressure, either going by her defender or splitting traps. This pass first PG definetly deserves some waking up to.

Loki Miguel
Loki Miguel
Migue is a spirited player to keep an eye on. The long haired hard playing wing is difficult to miss, especially when as productive as he was on this weekend. He’s a sleeper to keep an eye on.
![Rustin Teeny](https://prephoops.com/wp-content/themes/prep-network-content/public/images/generic-male.png)
Rustin Teeny
Rustin Teeny
Pay attention to Teeny, if not he just might be making another jumper. Everytime I looked up the sharpshooter seemed to burrying another clutch three for his team. The sleeper prospect knocked down three baseline threes in the game I saw.
![Camden Comer](https://prephoops.com/wp-content/themes/prep-network-content/public/images/generic-male.png)
Camden Comer
Camden Comer
Comer is one of the most skilled young players I saw. He attacked well, showing the ability to get to the rim. Keep an eye out and your hands up when playing with Comer as the jitterbug PG was one of the best young dime droppers I saw during the event.
![Decter Bruegger](https://prephoops.com/wp-content/themes/prep-network-content/public/images/generic-male.png)
Decter Bruegger
Decter Bruegger
If you’re on the lookout for shooters, keep Bruegger on the radar. He has good size and seemed to make a bunch of timely threes for YA. The sharpshooting sleeper owned the baseline three in the games I watched.
![Brant Viney](https://prephoops.com/wp-content/themes/prep-network-content/public/images/generic-male.png)
Brant Viney
Brant Viney
Viney was a fun sleeper to watch, especially when he got out into transition. The offensively advanced wing, loved to get out and finish, using an array of 1-2 steps to avoid defenders while finishing at the basket.
![Jarrett Bjorkgren](https://prephoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2023/10/20231015_093619.jpg)
Jarrett Bjorkgren
Jarrett Bjorkgren
Bjorkgren was one of the smallest players on the floor, but he had one of the biggest IQ’s. He moves pefectly without the ball, and has an advanced understanding of how to get open. He was the best screen setter I saw, using backscreens and cross screens to confuse defenders before popping out and finding himself wide open. Keep an eye out for this sleeper.
