A somewhat unknown player froma a smaller market has made his way to Utah via Wasatch Academy. He has length and a sweet shooting touch. He runs the floor but he doesn’t clog the lane with that size, he actually has stretch 4 abilities as well as playing the 3. He is a LM/MM D1 or a really HM D2 type of player. Look for him to get on the map this season so, if you are looking for a strecth 4 that can play the 3 you might want to jump on him NOW.
Although Sefa has signed to play D1 football, Sefa does not get enough credit for what a sleeper basketball player he is. He is strong and he is a high motor defender. His ability to defend and just get after it is impressive. Sefa provides depth, physicality and strength for a team that could be a sleeper in 5A.
The 6’6 wing player has major game and he could be one of the big time steals of this class. That versatility is impressive. Jordan might end up being a 20 plus and 10 rebound a game type of player. Small schools need to take a serious look at him as he could be that big guard that they are looking for.
Brogan continues to impress and move up the rankings and he is somewhat unknown because he use to be a two sport athlete playing football and basketball. Now that he has decided to go full-time basketball he has really turned the corner in his development. He is a smart PG with a handle and the strength to hang on to it through massive pressure. He is quick and can get by defenders and he can create for himself. Another steal in the class.
Zach has been getting D1 calls and offers from baseball since he was an 8th grader in baseball. Zach recently signed to play baseball at Oregon State University where he will likely come in as a pitcher. On the basketball court the kid is a strong wing that does a little bit of everything. He can step out and shoot the ball and he can also go inside and work in the paint. he has a high motor and gets rebounds and easy put-backs. He could surprise people at Riverton again this season.
