A full slate of games is held on Tuesday nights with some top talent and teams participating. I was able to attend on Tuesday, Oct. 24 and here’s a look at some additional top prospects I saw.
1. Hunter Caplan – Brentwood 2027
Caplan has to be one of the top shooters in Southern California high school basketball right now. He’s a natural shooting guard who can play the one at times. He has a consistent shot from three-point range and is able to knock down shots from anywhere on the court. Not afraid to take big shots and have the ball in his hands in clutch time situations. He has a quick release on his shot. He can shoot with defenders closing out on him and he can fake and fly by the closeouts to shoot the pull up from midrange.
2.

– La Salle 2024
Hajjar is a leader on the court for his team and a capable scoring threat from the wing. A ball-handling two guard, he pushes the tempo in transition and can find his teammates on the break. A consistent shooter from three-point range moving off ball, spotting up and shooting off the catch. What also stood out to me was his defense. He does a good job on ball and being able to cut off the dribble.
3. Michael Aikhionbare – Washington Prep 2024
Aikhionbare wasn’t quite connecting on his shots in the game I saw, but it was clear that the motions are there and he can get his own shot. Showed the ability to shoot step back jumpers and pull-up jumpers in the halfcourt. Also makes aggressive moves to the basket off the dribble. He looks for his shot in the halfcourt and is able to elevate over the defense on his shot. Good player in transition who can pull up and hit the jumper.
4. AJ Okah – Brentwood 2026
Okah is a good point guard prospect. He has good size for a one and was able to post up against smaller guards. Good handles and good screen navigation in the halfcourt. Was able to get into the paint consistently off the dribble and find his teammates when the defense collapsed. Was a good rebounder too for a point guard being in the mix against bigger players. Played solid off ball defense reading passes and forcing turnovers.
