October 7th-8th I attended the PHH Prep Classic located at the Phhacility in Phx, AZ. There were 20+ prep teams in attendance over the weekend from OR, CA, WA, MN and Arizona.

Here were some of the standout 2024-25 C's:

[player_tooltip player_id='2231290' first='Victavion' last='Conway-Fox'] AZ Sol (Pictured)

A post player has a nice touch on his shot in the paint. He has broader shoulders but is a little lean. He is a strong two-handed rebounder and long in the passing lanes. He plays smartly off the pick and roll game and will catch the ball in traffic and finish. He is a little raw but shows nice flashes with hook shots and drop steps. He is a valuable rebound chaser with his length and motor.

[player_tooltip player_id='1449296' first='Thokbor' last='Majak'] Canyon International Academy

A tall and long center can score with mini hook shots and drop steps. He dunks the ball effortlessly and is a top of the box shot blocker. Not many in the state are better at blocking shots than him. His timing is impeccable and greets his opponents with his size and length. His FT stroke is way more improved and so is his overall shooting. He verbally committed to San Diego State.

[player_tooltip player_id='2133113' first='Devin' last='Brafford'] Phhoenix Prep OTE

A long and fluid post player. He closes out to shooters and blocks anything near him in the paint. He scores on dunks and can step out and shoot the three with confidence. He springs up quickly to dunk the ball off of two-feet and he is a good passer out of the high post.

[player_tooltip player_id='2133111' first='Blake' last='Ammons'] Phhoenix Prep OTE

A huge post player with NBA sized hands and feet. He runs the floor and will score on dunks and put backs. He brings good energy to the court and his rebounding and effort are very high. He is a very good post defender controlling the paint with rebounds and blocks. He verbally committed to UMKC.

[player_tooltip player_id='1285990' first='EJ' last='Sommers'] Phhoenix Prep EIBC

A good sized post player is fluid in space and he is highly skilled. He is a face-up five-man who will hit the three with success and can flush it down on the break better than a year ago. He is getting more and more aggressive and his toughness is shining through.

[player_tooltip player_id='1369635' first='Almani' last='Aw'] Hillcrest Prep

A massive post player who moves well. He rebounds like a man as he boxes out with his girth, size and length. He is a little raw but he can face-up from elbow and in and score on put backs and dunks.

[player_tooltip player_id='1050409' first='Richard' last='Brisco'] Hillcrest Prep

The Akron commit is tough inside to score and defend. He brings his hard hat to each game and long arms to score inside. He is very good in space to defend the perimeter. He uses multiple ball fakes and scores with either hand getting to the basket. He boxes out well and will finish off dunks above the rim.

[player_tooltip player_id='996168' first='Evan' last='Coates'] Phhoenix Prep EIBC

A post player who brings a real motor to rebound. He keeps improving every year. He is more physical and has good hands to catch tough passes in the lane and go up quickly to score. He runs the floor to gain position and then will use footwork and soft hands to put points on the board.

[player_tooltip player_id='2173991' first='Junior' last='Sileu'] AZ Compass Prep Black

A well built post player has a college body, length and frame. He rebounds like a man, runs the floor and moves well in space. He sets hard screens and slips and can catch the ball. He is a great outlet passer and is quick to rip thru and score in traffic. His ability to defend in space and be extremely strong in the paint makes him attractive for college coaches.

[player_tooltip player_id='1441984' first='Noah' last='Johnson'] Phhoenix Prep CAA Open

A long shot blocker moves well and boxes out for rebounds. He is a rebound chaser and interior defender keeping him on the court for his team. He will score around the rim on put backs and flush it down. He can keep progressing his skills but has a lot of tools to work with.
