Homewood Flossmoor | 2026
State
IL
(Homewood Flossmoor – 2026)
Last Year’s Rank: NR
Long and lanky four man wowed us with his play in July for Vikings United. Bouncy power forward that was a major shot blocking presence, explosive offensive rebounder, and elite rim runner. Showed some skill around the hoop along with being able to stretch the floor a little with his shot.
#47 Charles Barnes (De La Salle – 2026)
Last Year’s Rank: NR
Rangy left handed small forward that can play anywhere from the two to four at this stage. Long term development will go a long way to determining a position as he has a frame he should be able to grow along with room to add strength. Works best right now in the mid-range where he can put it on the deck or hit jumpers. Good defender.
#48 Jonas Johnson Jonas Johnson 6'6" | PF DePaul Prep | 2025 State IL (DePaul Prep – 2025)
Last Year’s Rank: NR
Johnson was held out for most of the summer with an injury that sidelined him. Still has a ton of tools to like. Skilled four man that can face up and knock in jumpers, soft touch and good hands around the cup, and is a quality rebounder in his area. Big season ahead of him!
#49 Jayden Miles (Chi-Prep – 2025)
Last Year’s Rank: NR
Miles made the move to Chicago after playing his first two years in Kentucky. He is a center that relies heavily on his athleticism and strength. Bouncy post that is good at rim running and finishing out of the dunker spot. Good rebounder and is a capable shot blocker.
#50 Mason Lockett IV Mason Lockett IV 6'4" | SG Oswego East | 2026 State IL (Oswego East – 2026)
Last Year’s Rank: NR
Lockett presents quite a bit of upside as a rangy wing that can guard multiple positions. Quality ball handler, shooter, and defender. Also can play make a little with he rock in his hands. Best basketball is ahead of him!
