Movement in the Top 10
#5 Matt Gilhool Matt Gilhool 6'11" | PF William Penn Charter | 2025 State #76 Nation PA | Penn Charter 6’11 F/C
The big man from Elizabethtown, PA joined the ’25 class after a season at Westtown and initial plans to finish out his high school career in the NIBC at LuHi (Long Island Lutheran). He was already one of the most talented players in the state, so him instantly being in the top five of this class is a no brainer. Gilhool in a Quakers uniform will be the best for all parties involved.
#9 Jayden Forsythe Jayden Forsythe 6'4" | CG Westtown School | 2025 State #144 Nation PA | Westtown 6’4 G
Going into year two with the Moose, Forsythe has found his groove throughout the fall. He already had the physical tools to impact winning at either guard spot. Now his shots are falling more consistently, he’s locked in on defense, and he’s playing freer overall thanks to their improved chemistry. Originally from NY, the big guard’s hard work and subtle improvements are set to pay off during his junior campaign.
#10 Cameron Wallace Cameron Wallace 6'5" | SF Westtown School | 2025 State PA | Westtown 6’5 G/W
Another current player in his second season on Westtown’s roster, Wallace has been on a phenomenal run from aau season to the present. His decisiveness and ability to score at a high clip in the flow of the offense are evident no matter what context he’s playing in. Wallace is also comfortable moving the ball when his shot isn’t there. He and the Moose will be a problem going forward.
New to the PA Rankings
#38 CJ Miller CJ Miller 6'5" | SF Roman Catholic | 2025 State PA | Roman Catholic 6’5 W
Miller is a name most in southeastern PA aren’t familiar with, but will be soon. Coming over from Jersey, he was a vital member of the Woodbury team who won a state title last season. He has a wiry frame, rebounds, and can put the ball on the floor as a scorer. Despite coming off the bench for the Cahilites this fall, Miller will again be a key contributor as he gets initiated into Philly basketball.
#47 Tommy Vaughn, Jr Tommy Vaughn, Jr 5'11" | CG Phelps School | 2025 State PA | Phelps School 5’11 G
Vaughn Jr brings some Delaware flavor to the Phelps School. He spent last season at Sanford (DE) then played on WeR1’s stellar UAA 16U squad. His highlight reel is loaded with displays of his electrifying athleticism on both ends of the court. As he develops into a lead guard, Vaughn Jr’s capacity to make momentum shifting plays should keep him on the floor and make him a fan favorite.
#91 Everett Barnes Everett Barnes 6'9" | C Father Judge | 2025 State PA | Father Judge 6’8 C
Barnes made his way over to Judge from Burlington City (NJ) early in the summer and has quickly made his presence felt. A bruiser inside, Barnes threw his weight around for Philly Pride 16U on the UAA circuit and continues to do so for the Crusaders this fall. He adds depth and versatility to team and program that are slowly taking their respect heading into the 23-25 season.
