Players come from all over the Hoosier state, from Crown Point to Bloomington, Terre Haute to Richmond, and everywhere in between for this excellent event. As usual, Prep Hoops Indiana had boots on the ground coverage throughout the afternoon and evening for week three of the Metro Indy Fall League. Let’s dive in to highlighting some of the top performers from Sunday’s action.
There just aren’t many prospects as pure as this Noblesville High School guard. Curry II, fresh off a visit to Indiana for Hoosier Hysteria, put up some big scoring numbers on Sunday showcasing his scoring ability from all three levels. The 6’4″ guard has the athleticism and burst to get up and finish at the rim, the ball handling ability to create for himself in the mid-range, and is a knock down shooter from beyond the arc. After playing a role off of the bench as a freshman, look for Curry II to emerge as a primary option for the Millers this coming season.

It didn’t take long on Sunday for Horton to assert himself as one of the best players in the gym. The 6’5″ wing from Richmond High School has emerged as a highly sought after Division I prospect since the summer and is continuing to capture the attention of programs across the country. He is an extremely high-upside prospect with blossoming skill to match his elite physical tools. At the Metro Indy Fall League, Horton had a couple of dominant stretches including a nice, strong drive to the rim where he finished off of two feet, a tough turnaround jumper in traffic, a catch-and-shoot three-pointer, and a dunk in transition. A major stock-riser in the Class of 2025.

Kirby is a 5’10” left-handed guard that contributed for Warren Central as a sophomore, had an excellent summer on the grassroots circuit, and is poised for a big junior season as part of an underrated Warriors backcourt. Kirby is a very good three-point shooter and had that on display at the Metro Indy Fall League Sunday evening knocking in five three-pointers on his way to 21 points in a game. He can get hot in a hurry and isn’t afraid to attack the basket off of the dribble either.

A new name to us here at Prep Hoops Indiana, this 6’2″ guard from Frankton High School was a consistent scorer and facilitator on Sunday afternoon at the Metro Indy Fall League. Moore is a good three-point shooter with a quick release and sound footwork when operating out on the perimeter. He is also skilled enough with the ball to attack closeouts and made good decisions when he got into the teeth of the defense. Look for him to emerge as the go-to scorer for the Eagles this season and potentially play his way into some small college opportunities.
It will be fun to watch Orr V suit up for Hamilton Southeastern for his senior season this winter. The athletic guard is an excellent driver that relentlessly attacks the rim, has very good ball handling ability, and finishes in a variety of ways around the basket. On Sunday evening he was able to knock down a few jump shots as well making it very hard on the defense to stop him. Orr V will provide some dynamic playmaking to the Royals backcourt and should be on the list of college programs this winter.

When you put the ball in the basket as consistently as this 6’2″ senior guard does you don’t have a choice but to take notice. Reich, who transferred to Speedway High School for his senior season, put up 31 points in his first game of the afternoon on Sunday and backed it up with another 20-point performance in game number two. He is a very good shooter who can make some tough ones off of the dribble and displays the strength to play through contact on his way to the rim as well. Reich should put up some big numbers for the Sparkplugs this winter.
