Most of the prospects were from the 2024 class, while we had two underclassmen participate in skills, and drills then a controlled scrimmage.
Johnson played well in the spring and summer on the Under Armor Circuit playing against quality and physical competition. He’s stronger and handling the physical play better. He improved his rebounding and defense using his length to his advantage. He’s a good court runner, he’ll keep the defense on notice with his threat to knock down 3’s around the perimeter. Consistency will be key for him. He transferred to Oakland High.
The 6’7 Anderson was the only prospect from the class of 2026. He’s a rising prospect who’s going to have eyes on him during the upcoming season. He has an improving skill set, but there’s work to do. He’s got the square shoulders, strong, lengthy arms, and he jumps high, he can be a disruptor in the paint. He’ll score inside taking it up strong, hit the the paint jumper, and work from the high post. He’ll get rebounds, and some block.
There’s a good chance he was one of the better long range shooters at this event. He didn’t get a lot of touches, but the shots he put up went in. He has form, good release on his 3-point shot, he’ll use a dribble or two against defenders flying out, to knock down his mid-range jumper off the dribble. He’s a mover looking for open space, doesn’t waste dribbles. He’s on the Watch List.
He’s a young 2024 that played up, standing 6’8 DeGirolamo gained valuable experience playing competitive basketball against more seasoned prospects his size this spring and summer on the Adidas 3Stripe Circuit. He’s going to need some time to polish up his game. He’ll be a contributor to his team with his size and determination. He has a good upside.
He’s an high IQ prospect standing 6’3 brings a versatile skill set to the court. He has to be accounted for behind the 3-point line, he’ll lead the break in transition, or sprint to fill lanes in transition for buckets, he can hit the short jumper. He can generate paint points over bigs, at 6’3 he’ll help rebound. He plays at a good pace, he’s a ball mover. We’ll see more.
Highlights
Vaucher was the only 2025 in this group. The long wiry prospect tells us he’s spending time in the weight room. He’s 6’6, growing with an improving skill-set. He can get points, and rebounds in the paint with his length, and touch around the rim. He handles, runs, and passes well in the open court. He’s a wing type prospect who can knock down 3’s.
