High School Spotlight: Lake Central Indians

Smith is comfortable around the basket with good footwork, has a strong base, has a soft touch over his left shoulder and has flashed some face-up ability out to three-point range over the summer. He has consistently been one of the stock-risers in the in-state 2024 class and that was the exact case watching him play for [program_tooltip program_id='2075551' first='Indiana' last='Game'] this past AAU season. He will help Lake Central win a lot of games this season. Small schools needs to be watching this guy. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Potential Breakout Player: [player_tooltip player_id='1150969' first='Dorien' last='Beatty']</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Beatty is a guard that has always been a fun to watch over the years. He is a catch-and-shoot threat, dangerous in transition, and a good passer. He is also a short, quick and tough guard who knows how to guard and create a lot of pressure.
