GameChangers
WHY? He was a thief & pick-pocket on defense. Boston racked up the steals and showed off his keen basketball instincts. The smooth and skilled lefty was also unselfish with the rock as he created, dished, and moved the ball. All the hype about Cranston is real, big things are coming!
Highlights
WHY? Mr. Cool did positive work as a scorer, hustler, and creator. Brady was good about slashing, drawing attention, and finding teammates that were spotting up on the perimeter. Westphal might have had the pass of the night when he delivered a dime in transition that he threaded through a small window. Brady got after the boards and he knocked down a handful of triples, a few came from long rang. Coach Cummings is going to like this report!
Highlights
WHY? This was my first time seeing Braylen and he was diving & hustling all over the court. He looked like a sneaky and stealthy defender. Yellow Bird created turnovers by being in the right place at the right time and with his quick hands. I liked the looks off his game as a slasher and his floater game was noteworthy.
Highlights
WHY? He changed the game with his strength, physicality, and rebounding. At times, Kyler looked like a man amongst boys when going after rebounds. Droog gathered offensive rebounds and he scored numerous points on putbacks. He can also score from 15-feet and 3-point land. Kyler is underrated and he will be a DUDE this winter.
WHY? Cool Hand Luke changed the game with his size and length. I had multiple people come up and ask, who is # 858? Warner certainly made a good impression. Luke has no trouble carving out space around the basket. He shared the ball when double teamed and he gobbled up rebounds. Luke scored multiple AND1 buckets and his feet continue to improve. Luke’s stock is riser!
WHY? I have heard good things and have seen him make plays on film but this was my first time seeing Noah play live. He was impressive every time that I looked at his court. Kippley changed the game with his sharp and timely cuts. He has good hands and Noah finished at a high rate. He produced on the O-glass, and scored from every level. I was impressed with Kippley’s effort and persistence. This kid never slows down and he is always around the ball. Noah is certainly a Stock Riser!
WHY? I liked the looks of his game on film and Preston made a great first impression at the Expo. He made plenty of shots but he caught my eye when making a hustle play to save to ball from out of bounds. Preston scored with both hands at the cup, dropped dimes in transition, and showed off his 3-point stroke.
Highlights
WHY? He is another guy that I had never watched before. Neilan plays with heart and energy. I liked his never-back-down attitude. Traveion did a bit of everything, He created turnovers by picking off passes, snagged offensive rebounds, and scored in traffic. Neilan will turn some heads this winter!
