The consists of JUCO, post grad and private schools from up and down the east coast, as well as an Overtime Elite team too.
Here’s a look at part three of some of the high school and post grad prospects from VA teams that will be in attendance.
Nate Ament Nate Ament 6'8" | SF Highland | 2025 State #12 Nation VA | 6’9” F | Highland 2025
Ament has already blown up on the national level, and he continues to show why he’s such a valuable prospect with his rate of improvement and unique skillset at his size. Against some very good and athletic teams they were matched up with over the weekend, Ament was the best player on the floor scoring the ball at a super high rate and showing his ability to make plays on the perimeter at his size. He shot the ball extremely well from deep and did so both off the catch and off the bounce, he showed his ability to handle it in transition and make plays for himself and others and he continues to improve as a rim protector and all-around defender that can guard multiple positions.
Chance Perkins | 6’2” WG | Highland 2025
Perkins is another Highland prospect who continues to impress more and more throughout the fall, as he can flat out score the basketball and showed his natural shot making ability. He’s instant offense when he’s on the floor as he’s crafty off the bounce and gets to spots effortlessly, and he can make tough shots from multiple levels. He has effortless range off the catch and gets hot quickly to knock down shots in succession, and he can get in the lane where he’s a good finisher and playmaker too.
Jeremiah Gorham Jeremiah Gorham 6'0" | PG Highland | 2025 State VA | 5’10” PG | Highland 2025
Gorham sometimes gets forgotten on this Highland team as they have such depth, but he showed he’s going to be an important piece to this team with his ability to make plays off the bounce for himself and others. He’s lightning quick off the bounce and changes speeds well, and his burst allows him to blow by defenders and touch the paint to break down defenses. He’s a good on ball defender too who sets the tone on both ends and he picks his spots and scores it efficiently when he needs to.
Jemal Smith | 6’1” PG | Highland 2027
Smith will have to pay his dues with so many talented older guards on this Highland team, but there’s no denying his talent and in the end he could be the best of the group when it’s all said and done. He’s a natural at the point guard position with his quickness and feel, as he can break down defenders and is a threat to both score and make plays when he touches the paint. He competes hard on both ends of the floor and doesn’t shy away from top level competition already.
Ashton Walker Ashton Walker 6'5" | PG Catholic | 2025 State #172 Nation VA | 6’4” PG | Catholic 2025
Walker continues to trend in the right direction and will be one of the top guards in the 757 this year after transferring back home to Catholic from Oak Hill Academy. As he continues to grow his becomes more of a threat on both ends of the floor as he can see over defenders and use his length and instincts to get deflections on the defensive end. He’s super poised and plays with great pace with the ball in his hands, he’s shifty and able to break down defenders with terrific vision to find his teammates and he has a good scoring package from all three levels.
Pape Cunthe | 6’5” WF | S3 Academy 2024
Cunthe is one of the more unknown players in RVA as he just came to S3 Academy this year, but he’s already catching the eyes of college coaches with his size and skillset to go along with it. At 6’5” he’s a natural athlete who moves well and has good explosion as a finisher and rebounder as well. He can make shots from deep off the catch and has good footwork on the pull-up, he is a good finisher around the rim and he competes on both ends as well.
