Patrick Otey, HT 6’5, Class Freshman, Position G
Patrick really stood out at the open gym. He is proving to be one of the top Freshman in New England. He plays way above his age level. In the 3 on 3 scrimmage he scored a lot, and in a bunch of ways. He is a three level scorer, and cut very well away from the ball leading to layups. He can control the game, and shoot or score off the dribble. He understands the game well, and should be in store for a huge Freshman season.
Jaylen Harrell Jaylen Harrell 6'5" | SF CATS Academy | 2025 State #100 Nation New E , HT 6’5, Position G, Class JR
I have seen Jaylen play a number of times and my opinion has not changed. He is a high major division 1 college level player. He has good size, strength, skill, and athletic abilities. The strength of his game is to attack down hill, and his explosiveness getting to the rim. He has really improved his outside shot, and can score from all areas of the floor. He is also very active on defense.
Osa Idada Osa Idada 6'6" | SF CATS Academy | 2025 State #267 Nation New E , HT 6’7, Position Position F, class JR
Osa is a strong built, and high flying rim protector. He uses his strength to score down low and finish through contact. He has the built of a defensive lineman. He had some huge dunks during the open gym, many that made the rim shake. He has improved his overall skill set, and can play more inside and out. He can be a slasher from the wing, and is tough to move around in the paint. A high energy big man, that is a division 1 prospect, with the potential to be high major.
Jeremy Rudnick Jeremy Rudnick 6'5" | SG Cats Academy | 2024 New E , HT 6’6, Class SR, Position Wing
Jeremy was hurt, so he did not play in the open gym. Jeremy is a 6’6 stretch wing, who is a good three and D player. He has a smooth shot, and a quick release. On defense he is active, he can guard multiple positions, and uses his wing span to get deflections. Jeremy is a high academic student, and would be a perfect fit at any high academic division 3 college program.
Nelson Mboudjika Nelson Mboudjika 6'9" | PF CATS Academy | 2026 State New E , HT 6’9, Class Sophomore, Position F
Nelson moved last year from Cameroon, and he has greatly improved his skill set. He has a ton of upside, and a lot potential to his game. If he keeps improving, he will have a high ceiling. At the open gym he showed his abilities to run the floor as a 6’9 big, and his athletic abilities with some big dunks. I also saw him attack off the dribble and hit some free throw line jumpers. Nelson can be a force in the paint. On defense he is a rim protector, and will make it tough for other teams big man to score.
