Phillips makes his debut inside the Top 100 at the No. 87 in the 2025 rankings following a strong outing at this year’s Top 250 Expo. He’s an electric guard who can get paint touches and make teams pay with his ability to shoot the ball and finish in traffic. He’s a name to keep an eye on at Cardinal Gibbons High in 2023-24.
Peterson is a sizeable name to get to know in the class out of Asheville Christian Academy. He’s shown his growth as a stretch-forward option who can knock down shots and create matchup problems in space. He’s a wiry 6-foot-9 prospect ready to turn a corner in their frontcourt as he moves into the 90th spot in the latest rankings update.
Shoaf is an emerging name out of Oak Grove High due to make waves in the 2025 class. He moves into the 91st spot and off the watchlist with a new season upon us. He’s capable of operating at either guard role with his ability to make plays for others and knock down shots when given opportunities. He’s a name to keep eyes on for college programs in the region.
Highlights
Jones is another guard to keep an eye on in the Northside Christian Academy backcourt this season. He debuts at No. 93 in the latest rankings update following a productive junior campaign that saw him produce 9.9 ppg, 4.6 rpg, 2.4 apg and 1.3 spg as a sophomore in their state title run. He’s another guard for colleges in the region to keep track of.
Denny is another prospect with good size at 6-foot-7 to keep eyes on as a new face in the latest rankings update as he debuts at No. 96. He’s a prospect who’s shown he can be a versatile presence in the rotation with his ability to handle the ball and knock down shots along with operating as an anchor defensively. He’ll be a name to watch along with a few others at High Point Christian Academy this season.
