Tamarrein Henderson Tamarrein Henderson 6'3" | CG West Salem | 2024 State WI – West Salem
West Salem has reached the state title game in each of the last two seasons. Moving up to Division 2 in 2023-24, it’ll be up to Henderson to carry the torch forward. The Panthers lose most of their core to graduation, but Henderson is a solid Division 2 prospect whose numbers should explode now that he’s ‘the guy.’ Able to play both guard spots and one of the top two-way players in the state, Henderson posted 11 ppg as a junior.
Highlights
Jonathan O’Neill Jonathan O’Neill 6'9" | PF Kaukauna | 2024 State WI – Kaukauna
This high-upside big man just gets better and better. He’s a late bloomer who could always do the dirty work — rebounding, blocking shots, fighting for second chance opportunities, etc., but now you’re starting to see some skill development as well. An extremely intriguing prospect, O’Neill is a long, 6-foot-9 forward/center who can run the floor and play explosively above the rim. With the Ghosts being very deep this season, not sure how much O’Neill improves upon his 13 ppg and 12 rpg average, but he’ll likely show a few new things this winter.
Grant Manz Grant Manz 6'6" | SF Kiel | 2024 State WI – Kiel
Few had a bigger breakout summer than Manz. Averaging just over 12 points per game for Kiel as a junior, Manz went into the spring and summer on a war path. A blue collar wing/forward that plays a lot bigger than his size, Manz is a tough, hard-nosed competitor. At 6-foot-6, he averaged a double-double last season. If Manz gets the ball near the rim, he’s going through you, not over or around. The type of prospect that thinks every rebound is his, Manz elevates his teams whether he’s scoring or not.
Highlights
Logan Rindfleisch Logan Rindfleisch 6'5" | SF Wisconsin Lutheran | 2024 State WI – Wisconsin Lutheran
We’ve been on Rindfleisch for years now waiting for this day. Wisconsin Lutheran loses a ton of talent from last season’s team, including four starters and all college prospects. Rindfleisch needs to be Robin to Kon Knueppel’s Batman if the Vikings are going to get out of Pewaukee’s shadow. An athletic, slashing wing with above the rim ability, Rindfleisch gave Wisconsin Lutheran around six points per game as a junior. Expect a lot more opportunities to come his way this winter. With his ability to defend multiple positions and make momentum-changing plays on both ends, Rindfleisch could be a real x-factor as a senior.
Isaac Skemp Isaac Skemp 6'4" | SF Onalaska | 2024 State WI – Onalaska
Think the Mississippi Valley is going to see a different player this season. Skemp has made his living on being a spot-up 3-point shooter. With T.J. Stuttley transferring to Link Academy (MO), Skemp’s been able to add different parts to his game. Don’t get me wrong, Skemp is still going to make his living from the outside, but he’s gotten a lot better as a shot creator off the dribble and will even work inside the arc. At 6-foot-6, Skemp averaged 8.8 ppg next to a pair of Division 1 prospects as a junior.
Grady Geiger Grady Geiger 6'6" | PF Brillion | 2024 State WI – Brillion
Jeremy Lorenz out. Grady Geiger Grady Geiger 6'6" | PF Brillion | 2024 State WI in. The senior forward quietly delivered 12 points per game for Brillion in their run to the Division 3 state title last season, but with Lorenz now at Wofford, Geiger gets the attention for the Lions. A high-motor forward who plays very patient in traffic and well off two feet, Geiger is very efficient around the rim. He’s got terrific hands for his size and doesn’t panic when defenders surround him in the paint, thus leading to his 63.3 field goal percentage last season. Geiger has some skill as well. He’ll face up the mid-range and attack the bucket. He also made eight 3-pointers in 2022-23.
