Evan Eaton Evan Eaton 6'2" | CG Rice Memorial | 2025 State New E , 6’1 G – Rice Memorial H.S. Class of 2025
Eaton is a natural scorer who does it in so many ways. Evan’s a 3-level threat with his athleticism and smooth stroke, and he can do damage off the bounce but especially off the catch. Furthermore, he’s a tough defender who covers every perimeter position with nice length, agility, and a competitiveness that shines through. Eaton’s a two-way player who can light the scoring column ablaze.
Clayton Foster, 5’10 G – Montpelier H.S. Class of 2025
One of the most reliable decision makers around is Clayton Foster. The combo-guard’s ability to read the defense and act while taking care of the ball is quickly obvious. Of course, its founded on his ability to finish inside, hit the jumper, and read rotations to feed teammates. This all translates to the other end too; Clayton’s ability to read the offense’s decision makes him so anticipatory and bothersome. Super smart.
Tobey Bellows Tobey Bellows 6'4" | PG Harwood Union | 2024 New E , 6’0 G – Harwood Union H.S. Class of 2024
The playmaking you see from Tobey is a thing of beauty. Bellows’ is one of those PGs who loves to assist just as much as he loves to score. He’s a serious threat from range so defenders have to play tight; in turn, Tobey can snake into second layer and dice a defense up, seeing cutters and relocators with ease. Plus, he digs in on the defensive end, taking away those shooting and passing angles he knows so well.
Khamis Ali, 6’0 G – Burlington H.S. Class of 2025
Khamis comes with the clamps. Ali’s positive wingspan, agility, and defensive anticipation so often puts ballhandlers into quandaries, totally taking the offense out of rhythm. Or, he’ll hunt off ball and snatch passes out of the fullcourt press or in a halfcourt scramble. A reliable offensive option too, Khamis makes the simple play, finishing his open looks, swinging when it’s there, or attacking gaps. Fundamental.
Deng Aguek, 6’2 G – South Burlington H.S. Class of 2025
I’m seeing a Deng Aguek breakout winter ahead of us; he’s just too skilled not to. Deng’s 3-level scoring touch and crisp handle allows him to operate both as the primary ballhandler or as the second guard, and he’s lethal either way. He’s an efficient scorer off the catch, using screens wisely. Yet he can break a defender down and create space for open looks or make the feed to the open man. A reliable defender on the ball and off, Aguek is a guy I’ve been excited about for a while.
Musa Kasanga, 6’3 G – Burlington H.S. Class of 2025
A 3&D guy with a slashing game that continues to improve, Musa has that microwave ability to change a game. Kasanga’s smooth stroke is quite efficient, particularly off the catch, and he gets to his spots with clever use of screens and relocation. Moreover, he’s a smart passer who sees the floor intuitively. With his size and length, Musa causes issues for opponents with his defensive pressure and anticipation, creating a lot of transition opportunities.
Jacob Armstrong, 5’10 G – Champlain Valley Union H.S. Class of 2025
A steady PG with an instinctual feel for the game, Jacob brings reliability to the 1 slot. Armstrong’s orchestration is clean and crisp, facilitating naturally and feeding teammates in their spots. Balanced by an ability to get a bucket, he’s a multi-pronged weapon offensively. With his savvy defensive instincts and intuitive leadership, Jacob leads with strong communication and work ethic.
