JJ Mandaquit JJ Mandaquit 6'2" | PG Utah Prep | 2025 State #45 Nation UT was doing his thing, creating and getting the ball to the right places and you should see more improved play as he was shadowed the entire game the entire length of the floor.
Growth
This was a fantastic opportunity for this program to grow as they might be moving from one place to another but they basically have a whole new roster and and some new things that they are starting to implement. Gavin Placide Gavin Placide 6'8" | CG Utah Prep | 2025 UT and Gallagher Placide Gallagher Placide 6'8" | CG Utah Prep | 2025 UT had their moment but when you are playing against some of the best wings and these dudes are men there will be some opportunity ‘s out there to learn.
Standouts
Junior County Junior County 6'5" | PG Wasatch Academy | 2026 State UT : He might have not had the best showing in his mind but the kid did some great things out there especially as the number two ball handler and creator. Look for him to really improve and pick up a larger amount of offers this winter.
John Southwick John Southwick 6'3" | SG Utah Prep | 2025 State #234 Nation UT : This kid was averaging 20 + PPG out there and teams where trying to deny him the ball which means he is doing his job and =, especially opening the lanes for his PG and the bigs to work. This game the teams they played had some of the biggest bigs inteh country so things will get better all-around.
Surprise Play
Aly Toure Aly Toure 6'9" | PF Utah Prep | 2025 State UT : He is strong and had his moments but there is upside for him as a solid PF.
Guystone Kasenga Guystone Kasenga 6'9" | C Utah Prep | 2025 State UT : He was hanging tight against alot of D1 and pro talent which means the rest of the schedule will only get better.
