One of the best prospects in the tournament. He is as smooth as they come and showed that with some impressive drives to the bucket. He covers a lot of ground and gets to the paint with few dribbles. A good athlete with lots of length. He has all level scoring ability with his nice looking jumper, including pulling a three off the dribble. He is crafty around the rim when he gets there. He had some nice blocks. using that length and will continue to get better as he grows into his body. High ceiling player
Maybe the best true post player in the tournament. He has outstanding footwork and uses his body well to score in the paint. He’s great at creating space and is smooth around the rim. He dominated when he got the ball, especially deep in the low post. He had a bunch of points in the game I watched and didn’t miss many shots. A true back to the basket post who can step out hit the jumper if he needs to.
He was tough. He had at least 16 points in the game I watched. He did it with his ability to break down the defense off the dribble for the most part. His mid-range game was excellent and he set it up nicely with the dribble. He also took it all the way to the rim with some great finishes, adding some creativity when he needed to. He has some great ball skills that allow him to be creative and get his own shots.
Highlights
Jaxon is extremely quick off the dribble. He is a scorer and finds ways to get it done. He’s got a mid-range game and is creative around the basket with some nice explosiveness. He plays with a high basketball IQ, and knows how to draw fouls. Even though he is slight of build, he finishes strong and has good athleticism with quick hops. Good prospect who will continue to flourish as he gets stronger. He can play both guard spots and handles the ball well.

The first thing you notice is that the kid plays hard. He was active, played tough defense and rebounded. He had some great takes and uses all of his length and size well. He had at least 10 points and a handful of rebounds as well as floor burns. His ability to consistently break down the defense was on display but his hustle and defense were tough to ignore.

This kid was an absolute rebounding machine. He has quick hops and was all over the place, offensive and defensive rebounds. He also stood out with his effort, getting on the floor for loose balls and playing on both ends of the floor. He wasn’t the biggest kid in the tournament but you wouldn’t know it with how he plays. It would be no surprise to see a lot of double doubles from him this season.
