There is going to be an abundance of talent on the courts at Romeoville Athletic Center, so let’s jump in and analyze some athletes to observe while at this fantastic event.

Donovan Cobbs Donovan Cobbs 6'2" | PG St. Viator | 2026 IL – St. Viator
Cobbs, a 6’2″ point guard in the class of 2026, currently attends St. Viator high school in Arlington Heights. His long and athletic frame makes him a standout player on both ends of the court. His length and agility is a valuable asset, particularly by being a feisty on ball defender causing stress and frustration on opposing ball-handlers. Cobbs demonstrates excellent rebounding abilities at rebounding from the guard position, fearlessly attacking the board on missed shots. He’s aggressive when attacking the basket off the dribble and displays remarkable dominance with his left hand. Defenders are challenged to closeout with control and maintain lateral quickness, otherwise it’ll be a nightmare matching up against Cobbs. In addition to his driving skills, his jump shot has improved, adding another dimension to his offensive arsenal. All of his skills on the court are enhanced by his unyielding work ethic and determination to compete at a high level.
Askia Bullie Askia Bullie 6'0" | PG Westinghouse | 2024 State IL – Westinghouse College Prep
Bullie’s a lead guard in the Class of 2024 representing Westinghouse College Prep. A talented athlete that brings a versatile skill set to the court, making an impact on both ends. On the defensive side, Bullie excels in on-ball defense at the point of attack. His tenacity disrupts opposing offensives, causing turnovers, and creating turmoil for opponents. In addition to his defensive prowess, he is an excellent passer with a pass-first mindset. His ability to efficiently distribute the ball is an important dimension to not overlook. Bullie’s speed and quickness allows him to penetrate the paint easily, providing a valuable scoring threat. Bullie’s basketball IQ shines during pick and roll situations, showing the understanding of the game’s details. Bullie is undoubtedly a prospect to watch as he brings a combination of precision passing, defensive tenacity, and scoring abilities.
Dustyn Collins – Centralia
Collins, a promising 6’5″ athlete in the 2025 class, hailing from south-central Illinois, is an intriguing player to keep a close eye on. His blend of athleticism and physical strength is captivating, and he possesses an abundance of natural talent that continues to develop. Collins is an outstanding defensive rebounder, consistently battling for boards to ensure his team maintains possession. Furthermore, he exhibits the ability to take matters into his own hands and advance the ball up the court. On the offensive side, Collins showcases an innate ability to track down missed shots, providing valuable second chance scoring opportunities. In transition, he impressively runs the floor, skillfully finding open pockets and showcases soft hands to catch the ball with finesse. Jalen Crues Jalen Crues 6'6" | PF Glenbard North | 2024 State IL – Glenbard North
Crues, a towering 6’6″ forward set to hit the court during the upcoming season as part of the the Class of 2024 at Glenbard North, is a physical force. His robust build allows him to dominate from the interior, making him a mighty presence. What makes Crues standout is his persistent work ethic, competing with commitment and a motor that never seems to rest. His all-out energy translates into thunderous dunks, rebounding with authority, sprinting in transition, and capitalizing on second chance opportunities. On the defensive end, he is equally tenacious, playing with intensity and a purpose. Crues is a reliable option around the rim, showcasing the ability to convert with regularity. The combination of size, strength, and ferocity makes him a must watch at the Expo.
Kaden Hauber Kaden Hauber 6'1" | PG Galena | 2025 IL – Galena
Hauber, a 6’1″ guard in the Class of 2025 from the upper northwestern region of Illinois, has undergone a significant transformation this offseason. He dedicated time his time in the weight room and added on approximately 20 pounds of muscle. His prowess on the court is evident by excellent ball-handling and sound decision making. Hauber is deadly accurate from three-point land, while his efficiency is a feature from all areas of the court. Relentless on the defensive end who shows the hustle and dedication coaches appreciate. Hauber doesn’t shy away from guarding the best player on an opposing team. His high motor complements his all-around competitiveness and skillful play. Viewers at the Expo can expect to witness Hauber’s grit and impressive acumen, leaving them impressed.

Daniel Loza Daniel Loza 5'10" | PG Lake View | 2025 State IL – Lakeview
Loza, a 5’9″ guard representing Lakeview High School in the Class of 2025, is on a continuous upward trajectory, as he’s shown consistent improvement. His dedication to the fundamentals makes him a reliable and well-round presence on the court. One of his standout attributes is a lightning quick release where he is deadly accurate from beyond the arc. He’s a versatile player equally capable of handling the ball, attacking of the dribble, and delivering precise passes to teammates. He has a sharp focus on the game. Loza actively communicates with teammates and isn’t afraid to display defensive toughness. With his pursuit of excellence, sharpshooting skills, all-around play, Loza leaves a positive impact on the game and viewers.
