Section 5AAA Rundown
Totino-Grace is a massive, massive favorite here. Maybe the biggest section favorite of all 32 sections in Minnesota. In fact, they have so much talent I feel like they could lose two starters – any two starters – and still get to state in a relatively comfortable way. They have that much talent. The one team that has enough returning quality from a good 22-23 team is Big Lake. The Hornets could give the Eagles some trouble in the right scenario. Unfortunately the rest of the section either lost too much talent to compete at a section title game level this year, or they just haven’t had the talent in their program. Any Princeton team of the last five years would give the Eagles a good game but this year’s Princeton Tigers are only returning one starter.
