<p>It won't be the same for Goodpasture. The quiet, kind yet statuesque presence leading his troops to battle like George Washington across the Delaware. Coach Sonn won the 2021 and 2023 State Championships and helped some of the greatest talent in middle Tennessee develop: Isaiah West, Xavier Shegog, [player_tooltip player_id='1259393' first='Jayden' last='Jones'], [player_tooltip player_id='2238624' first='Chris' last='Kennedy'], [player_tooltip player_id='1259395' first='King' last='Keary'], Tripp McEachern, Jack Carter, P.J. Smith, Trevor Randolph.</p>

<p><strong>Head Coach:</strong> Dustin Patton (1st at Goodpasture) 3rd season as a Head Coach</p>

<p>Goodpasture announced "Dustin Patton will be returning to GCS as our new High School Boys' Basketball Coach. For eight years, Dustin was Coach Adam Sonn's Assistant Varsity Coach and Head Coach of the GCS Boys' Junior Varsity team. During that time, our Varsity record was 209-36, and the Junior Varsity record was 121-11."</p>

<p>Coach Patton served as the Head High School Girls' Coach at Nashville Christian School (NCS) for the past two years. With a 60-10 overall record, he led NCS to its first two State Tournament wins in the program's history. Additional accomplishments include:</p>
