PICTURED: [player_tooltip player_id='1787950' first='Luke' last='Sigmund'].

We introduce our updated Class of 2026 rankings!! Rankings are subjective and PrepHoops.com ranks purely upon potential and where the player will be at their basketball peak. Production factors in only when helping prove the potential is greater or lesser. Why did we rank these guys? Why are they at this spot? Take a look at five Class of 2026 prospects and learn a little about their reputation.

Peruse the complete 2026 rankings.

#26 [player_tooltip player_id='1683672' first='JaRohn' last='Johnson'] (Clarksville Academy)

Frankly, Clarksville Academy was so loaded last season that [player_tooltip player_id='1683672' first='JaRohn' last='Johnson'] was hardly needed on the offensive end. He contributed still. Johnson's explosion vertically off of two feet was nice, for a freshman. He was and is very naturally strong. Even as a freshman he was capable and willing to fend off defenders with his shoulder. Johnson's next step in development should be finishing above the rim and developing his dribbling to mature into a combo forward. JaRohn is an excellent rebounder, often tracking down and securing errant shots outside of his rebounding area.

#27 [player_tooltip player_id='1683902' first='Parker' last='Lane'] (Farragut)

As a freshman [player_tooltip player_id='1683902' first='Parker' last='Lane'] averaged 11.9 ppg, 3.0 apg. He lead the team in assists and only turned it over 1.8 times per night, solid for a freshman. Lane and Dominic Vanacker are the leaders of the team. Lane needs to improve his efficiency and start adding muscle to improve his game and ascend as a college prospect.

Parker is a good first and then second effort guy when defending. When away from the basketball he plays very close, even using his away hand as cat whiskers, gingerly keeping a faint touch to be aware of any critical movement by his man.

#28 [player_tooltip player_id='1671461' first='Ayden' last='Sadler'] (Green Hill)

#29 [player_tooltip player_id='1911257' first='Hudson' last='McKnight'] (Brentwood)

Hudson and his AAU teammates with the Shockers AAU team ripped through two PrepHoops events in summer 2023. The point guard averaged 11.8 points, 3.8 rebounds, 7.8 assists, 4 steals in his final AAU weekend of July. His defensive awareness was a surprise. The willingness to pass and eagerness to pass while playing a little tall set him apart from the average sophomore point guard. His role is expected to be large for Brentwood this season.

#30 [player_tooltip player_id='1787950' first='Luke' last='Sigmund'] (Maryville)

The basketball and physical maturation of [player_tooltip player_id='1787950' first='Luke' last='Sigmund'] in the last 10 months was wonderful. The big man can now attack with more ferocity and he even incorporates a beautiful drop-step now. Sigmund has more growth ahead in his game, perhaps more than many in the Top 50 as he is just now finishing with power above the rim. There is so much more dynamism since the then-freshman began adding muscle and simply getting stronger naturally and with weights.

Once Luke got his puppies moving, he was pretty fast, but the same problem all bigs have with the sport is speed. Can they keep up with the pace of play? Can they run the floor? Can they get back when their teammates lose the ball? Luke will earn most of his early varsity playing time with defense around the rim, but keeping himself on the floor will require improved quickness. He needs to get from a standing position to his top basketball speed quicker. Every young big man does. - October 2022 PrepHoopsTN Combine eval

2025 Rankings

Top 65
Top 70
Top 75
Top 80
