Take a look at the current rankings here. Players improve a lot from their freshman to sophomore year so expect a big jump from a lot of 2026’s. Keep an eye on these sophomores making moves in the upcoming rankings.
Been tracking Thomas throuhgout Summer and Fall play. He’s developing his offensive game. Look for him to provide depth to a Mojave team set to contend in 5A.
Dickel should see more minutes for Arbor this year. The PG has a good grasp of Arbor’s advanced offensive system, expect him to provide some shooting and a steady hand for the team.
Taylor has a good frame and plays hard. He’s also been on the floor for a ton of winning basketball over the last year. Look for him to make jump and have even more of an impact for the reigning 2A champs this year.
Mulal fits perfectly for a big and athletic hug team. He’s expected to provide rim protection and rebounding. Doing both at a high level gives him the best chance to rise.
Caesar has been impressive the last couple of times I’ve seen him in person. He’s just a hooper that produces consistently. He’ll get a challenge playing for Red Rock, stepping up to it may lead to a step up in the rankings.
Highlights
The first thing that stood out to me about Williams at the recent Expo was his frame. He has good positional size, and is a willing defender. Keep an eye out for him being one of the most improved scorers in the North.
Keep an eye out for Coleman this season. He’s got a chance to have increased production, because of his offensive skill set. He’ll have to defend, to stay on the floor, however he has the kind of shooting and slashing skill, to put together a big time sophomore scoring season.

Look for our #1 player in the class of 2026 to have a huge year. He got his feet wet last season, and will look to use that experience to ignite a breakout year.
