Continue ReadingThe Prep Hoops Indiana Top 250 Expo has become an annual event that rivals any put on throughout the year in the Hoosier State. On Sunday afternoon and evening at the Noblesville Boys & Girls Club nearly 1500 of the states best Class of 2024, 2025, and 2026 prospects came to display their skills in front of many of the most influential people in Indiana High School Basketball. This event is the premier way to get “on the radar” prior to the high school season. Over the next week or so it will become clear why we always say “nobody does content and event coverage like Prep Hoops Indiana.” With that said, here are the player evaluations from Team 7 of the 2023 Prep Hoops Indiana Top 250 Expo.
***With nearly 150 prospects at our event, I was able to watch 12 of the 16 teams live. Since the event, I’ve gone back to watch the other four on BallerTV in order to complete all of the player evaluations. However, as you can imagine, this is not the easiest task. There were some late player additions and walk-ups that threw a wrench into some rosters. So, if you notice that a name is wrong and/or a player is missing an evaluation please reach out to Brandon Ramsey at coachbrandonramsey@gmail.com or reach out via DM on Twitter @BRamseyKSR and I will resolve any issues. Thanks for your understanding and for participating in the 2023 Prep Hoops Indiana Top 250 Expo!***
Parker is a 5’9″ guard from North Knox High School that handled the ball well, imitated offense consistently for Team 7, and showcased some good overall abilities as a floor general at the Prep Hoops Indiana Top 250 Expo on Sunday. On the perimeter he used a shot fake to penetrate and get into the paint where he made some nice passes displaying good court vision. His tight handle and confidence in the open floor were on display throughout the event.
This left-handed point guard played very well on Sunday showcasing his ability to score off of the dribble from multiple spots on the floor. Odle can knock down pull-up three-pointers when coming down the floor in transition, has a smooth intermediate range game with little floaters and pull-up jump shots, and can get all the way to the rim to finish. He is a talented scoring threat that is shifty with the ball and can create his own shot consistently which he certainly did at the Prep Hoops Indiana Top 250 Expo.

This 6’4″ forward displayed some impressive athleticism and offensive versatility at our event on Sunday. The Huntington North High School product knocked in a couple of mid-range jump shots, used the shot fake to attack the basket to his right, and was active on the offensive glass. Tucker’s mixture of size, athleticism, and skill make him an intriguing long-term prospect. His ability to make shots off of the dribble inside the arc really stood out.
After a good summer with Grand Park Premier Silver, this 6’5″ forward from Northwestern High School showed very well once again at the Prep Hoops Indiana Top 250 Expo on Sunday. Sims was excellent on the defensive end of the floor protecting the rim and holding his own on the block. Offensively, he finished multiple tough putbacks after crashing the glass hard. His activity level on both ends was really impressive. He should have a strong junior campaign this winter.

This highly productive forward was excellent on the rim run at Sunday’s Prep Hoops Indiana Top 250 Expo. The 6’6″ Fishers High School product scored twice by running harder than the defense in transition and finishing at the rim. Then, a third time, he trailed the play a bit but kept running straight to the rim where he received a pass and scored inside. Sigler has great size, is mobile end-to-end, and will help provide some depth in the front court for the Tigers this upcoming season.
Lindeman was one of the better prospects that we had at our event on Sunday. He was named to our top performer list following the event and certainly earned those honors with his consistent scoring and playmaking. The 6’5″ guard from Bloomington High School North is an excellent midrange scorer, handles the ball very well for his size, and is very fluid athletically. He is coming off of a breakout sophomore season for the Cougars and should put up big numbers this winter as a junior.
