Saturday’s Top250Expo Event provided student-athletes the opportunity to showcase their skills and compete against top talent in front of PH Scouts. Let’s get into some of our Top Guard Prospect Standouts from throughout the event this weekend in Longwood, FL.
Grant finished as one of the more physical and explosive guard prospects at the Top250Expo event. He’s really athletic with a solid frame at 6’5 who is a slasher scorer and finishes in transition because of his strength around the rim. He provided good defensive energy as well and kept his hands active to get a couple steals.
Buroz was a pure sniper and one of the better playmaking guards to attend the event. He did it all on Saturday as a reliable guard handling the rock up top while showing off his smooth jumper and ability to create with flashy passes. He has a nice handle on the ball and can get to the rim and finish with acrobat layups.

It was the defensive effort and motor to always run the floor that stood out when watching Allen perform. He gives maximum effort on both sides and can handle the rock when needed. Decent offensive game and came up with a few steals that led to easy buckets which landed his name on the list.

Goldwire had a solid performance at the Top250Expo as the rising junior was able to create space with decent iso moves and show off his ability to be a reliable point guard prospect.

One of the top guards to shoot lights out from the field was rising sophomore Tristen Payton Tristen Payton 6’1″ | PG Lake Mary | 2026 FL . This kid is a pure sniper from behind the arc and had one of the better offensive iso bags at the event. Payton was a confident guard prospect who was able to score in a variety of ways. Came away impressed with his upside and deadeye shooting.
No doubt, Castro should have been in my overall top standouts after reviewing the film. His ability to score with or without the ball and constantly be a menace on defense can take him to the next level. He simply took over a game near the end against one of the better rosters at the event. He flashes euro steps, crashed the boards, and made most of his contested layups. Really impressed with Castro’s performance this weekend.
