PH Top 250: Team 2 Evaluations

Throughout the next few days, myself and Jeremy Brooks will be running through some of the standout performers from the event, and providing full evaluations of every player in attendance. He gets up into opposing ball-handlers, making them work hard just to bring the ball up the floor. And on the offensive end, he's in constant attack mode, looking to play downhill and get to the rim for finishes. He's a good defender with quick hands and good footwork, and on multiple occasions he was able to cleanly pick the pocket of an opposing ball-handler and turn his defense into offense. He's a good finisher around the rim, showing good patience and body control. He's a strong, athletic 6-0 guard who loves to compete on the glass on both ends of the floor, and he was fantastic in that regard. He's a good finisher around the rim, finishing through contact on multiple occasions, and he gets to the rim both off the dribble and by moving without the ball in his hands. He's a solid on-ball defender who moves his feet and has quick hands. A 6-7 big man with soft hands, he was dominant on the glass on both ends of the floor. He showed comfort shooting it off both the dribble and the catch, and he does a good job using his big frame to help create some additional space to get his shot off. He runs the floor hard and establishes good early position on the block, and he showed some good court vision and awareness as a post passer. He disappeared at times, but when he was engaged, he was able to make an impact on both ends of the floor. He can cover a ton of ground on the defensive end with his blend of quickness and length. On one particular play that stood out, the ball-handler was able to get by him, but he was able to quickly recover and block their shot at the rim. He didn't quit on the play and ended up making an impactful defensive play for his team.
