The Top 250 Showcase provides a unique opportunity for prospects to put their talents on display in front of the Prep Hoops scouts & staff as well as college coaches.
Headliners such as point guard Jordan Dill Jordan Dill 5'11" | CG Germantown Friends | 2026 State PA , combo guard KJ Coles KJ Coles 6'2" | CG Pocono Mountain West | 2026 State PA , stretch-4 Donovan Fromhartz Donovan Fromhartz 6'5" | SF Downingtown West | 2025 State PA , and wing Keon Mtume-Long Keon Mtume-Long 6'3" | SG Neumann-Goretti | 2025 State #393 Nation PA have already committed to play in this Prep Hoops event.
Today we wanted to dive into our current list of participants for our Pennsylvania Top 250 Showcase and preview five more under the radar players we will be watching closely on Saturday.
Dominic Downs Dominic Downs 6'4" | PF Salesianum | 2026 DE – 6’5″ / 2026 / Salesianum (DE) / Philly Pride UAA / Shooting Guard: Downs posted an impressive summer as he was a standout performer at high profile June events like Philly HS Live and the Rider MBB Team Camp. He excelled on the July grassroots circuit as well. Downs is a high percentage three-point shooter with underrated athleticism. His length enables Downs to shoot over double teams and score in close over most guards.
LaMaj Mapp – 6’3″ / 2024 / U2 Elite / Penn Wood / Small Forward: Mapp is a wide bodied and physical small forward who thrives in the paint. He can generate offense with quick post ups, back downs and via the offensive glass. He owns smooth footwork as well as a nice bag of low post moves. So, when Mapp catches the rock in the post, he is looking to score. At the other end, Mapp is a monster on the defensive boards.
Rainier Ramos Rainier Ramos 6'0" | SG Reading | 2025 State PA – 6’1″ / 2025/ Reading / Team Final Red / Combo Guard: Ramos is a high IQ lefty who is extremely versatile. He can run at both guard spots. He can drain threes and score off the bounce through contact. But what takes his versatility to the next level is Ramos’s ability to produce points in the mid-range as well as on the blocks. Ramos is the rare guard who will not hesitate to mix it up in the low post.
Cooper Rath Cooper Rath 5'9" | SG Boyertown | 2026 State PA – 5’10” / 2026 / Boyertown / Eastern PA Elite / Combo Guard: After he exploded for 37 points (6 threes) at the Never Forget Classic, we are looking forward to watching Rath play on Saturday. In addition to splashing threes, Rath has displayed transition and off the dribble scoring skills. Once he gets to the rim, Rath has proven he can absorb contact and still convert. Rath possesses a high basketball IQ too.
Quadeair Smith Quadeair Smith 6'3" | SF Audenried | 2025 State PA – 6’3” / 2025 / Audenried / Kings Olympus / Wing: This long, bouncy, and extremely athletic wing prospect is nearly unstoppable off the dribble. With his creative handles and speed, Smith can get to the cup from any spot on the court. At the rim he can get a bucket with a creative lay-in or simply turn it over for a flush on an opponent’s head. Smith’s physical gifts and anticipation skills make him a plus defender.
