SubscribeWe had a chance to check out some of the top freshmen in the class of 2027. These athletes are outstanding players from all over and their ability to shoot from wherever, handle the ball, and make game-winning plays!

Charlie is a monster on the glass! He rebounded everything he could while he was on the court making it look easy on both sides of the ball. We know how important rebounding is but he does a great job of it on the offensive glass and gives himself a chance to get second chance points. He’s expanding his game to the perimeter more shooting jumpers when he’s open. He loves to drive it hard right and finish with either hand at the rim.

Luke is as crafty as they come. His handles are tight on a string and he gets to anywhere he wants to on the court. He loves to use the pick and roll situations from the wing and manipulates the defender by putting his body into the defender to shield him off when coming off the screen. He has no problem using a lob pass or pocket pass to his big man on the roll if they can catch and finish or he will keep it himself and finish at the rim.

Kamari is a crafty guard that has a lot of experience so him being undersized doesn’t matter to him. He has a good handle, if it’s a close game he knows how to manage the game and close out the victory like a true PG as if he was a. QB in football. He has a nice shot and a variety of finishes in his game. He has a high IQ and creates tons of space from his defenders to make plays happen. He’s going to be a big time impact player for the next 4 years at Ark City.

When you talk about someone who is a shooter you have to mention Jaxon name. It was something about the showcase that made him feel a little comfortable because he was all smiles and lighting it up from the 3 point line game after game. He’s always playing older players well above his age so he has a high IQ that will take him to the next level and you could see it with his back door finishes at the rim. While we were there we heard he’s recently transformed into this fit basketball player so if you add the journey he’s on, he’s only going to get better.

Max was a kid that played hard every minute he was out there. If there was a loose ball going out of bounce you can always count on Max to be saving the ball to his teammates risking it all for the win. Max never complained about how many touches he got during the showcase or pout on defense but instead he wanted to do everything he could to help them win.

Avant is as talented as they come. Avant is extremely skilled and can score the ball in a variety of different ways. What stood out the most was his ability to shoot jumpers on the move. From sprinting to his spot in a catch and shoot situation or him creating his own shot off the bounce shooting a drifting jumper going baseline Avant can do it all and this is just the beginning for him.
