Levon Smith III
Smith already earned Top Defender honors for his squad as he and Preston Scott Preston Scott 5’10” | PG Charlotte Country Day | 2027 State NC set quite the tone with their ability to apply pressure on the basketball. He’s got a strong feel as a downhill driving threat who’s capable of finishing in traffic with consistency. As he shows off his consistency shooting the ball, look for his name to grow in SC’s 2027 class. He’s an electric two-way lead guard prospect to keep eyes on out of Spring Valley High.
Scott was a Top Defender selection alongside Levon Smith III given his knack for staying connected defensively and finding energy on the defensive side of the ball. He’s got a solid feel for where to be and how to work with others to find ways to make an impact on the hardwood. A lot of what he does doesn’t show up on the stat sheet but he’s a 2027 name who plays at a high level already out of Charlotte Country Day School in NC.
Highlights
Jaden Watkins Jaden Watkins 5’11” | CG RS Central | 2027 NC was an impressive backup guard who complemented Scott/Smith with his prowess on the scoring front. He showed he could handle ball pressure and operate in space. He showed he could make things happen in the mid-range and on the perimeter as a finisher and scorer. As he utilizes his athleticism to impact the game in other ways, look for his name to grow in the 2027 class out of RS Central High in NC.
Highlights
White was a fearless shooting guard threat who really caught fire to open things up for Team 4. He’s a small guard but don’t let his size fool you as he’s capable of knocking down shots with range and confidence all over the floor. As he learns to get others involved when he’s the hot hand, look for his name to grow in the 2027 class at JL Chambers High in NC.
Jacobson was a glue guy for his Team 4 squad with his ability to defend multiple roles and dial it up from deep when called upon. He didn’t force much when he was on the floor and played under control when the ball came his way, showing off his ability to knock down shots off the bounce and on the perimeter. He’ll be a name to keep an eye on at Cedar Ridge High in NC’s 2027 class heading into a new season.
Highlights
Prenger was a prospect who wasn’t afraid to get any of the dirty work accomplished in the painted area. He’s another coachable prospect who didn’t back down from being challenged to play in the painted area, holding his own against bigger opponents to secure rebounds, defend and alter shots. He plays with good energy on the floor and has shown he can operate off the bounce and off the catch offensively. He’s a name to watch at Smoky Mountain High in NC.

Helms was another prospect who embraced the challenge of playing against bigger opponents in the painted area. He’s got good instincts with his ability to stretch the floor with his outside shot and playmaking ability. He didn’t back down from battling in the painted area and kept a good attitude when things didn’t go his way. As he fills out his frame and gets stronger, he’ll be an intriguing name to watch out of Rock Hill High in SC.

Mack was a confident lead guard prospect in the Team 4 backcourt who knew how to set the tone with his ability to operate off the bounce. He did well to work to his spots in the mid-range and in the painted area so he could make things happen when the ball came his way. Defensively, he showed he could play with energy and defend a few different positions on the floor with his length and athleticism. He’s another name out of Blythewood High in SC to keep eyes on in the 2027 class.
Moser was a solid two-way presence in the Team 4 backcourt who showed he could do more than just score the ball. He was constantly present on the defensive end, constantly looking to apply pressure and make his presence felt as a defender. Offensively, he showed he could dial it up from deep on the perimeter just as well as get others involved in the play on the floor. He’ll be another name for coaches to keep eyes on in NC’s 2027 class over at Weddington High.
Brayden Mack Brayden Mack 5’9″ | PG Ridge View | 2027 State SC was another crafty guard in the Team 4 backcourt that showed off his shooting stroke and passing ability at the Carolinas Freshman Showcase. He showed he could operate in a variety of ways as a catch-and-shoot threat and an operator off the bounce. He showed he could finish in traffic as a driver and find others in space to make things happen. He’s another name out of Ridge View High with a bright future ahead of him in SC’s 2027 class.
